My cat loves her food and I know it helps her stay healthy and her coat looks super soft and shiny. (Granted I do bathe and brush her) although my cat is both indoor and outdoor, this food is able to keep up with all her nutritional needs.
Great food - much too expensive

I purchased for my older cat with stomach issues and he loves it plus, it is very good for him too. That said, I do not believe this food should be this expensive.

Very good cat food with good ingredients. My cat immediately empties the bowl as soon as I put the food. Nice delicate texture, not too hard. Affordable price for such food. Delicate, not too strong smell. Large package.

When you want to give your fur baby one of the best foods try this. I wasn’t sure she would like it but once she tried it, it was a hit. Perfect for indoor cats who like being pampered 🐈⬛🐈 Costs a bit more than average brands but keeping them healthy is my priority.

My cat has a sensitive stomach. We had to go through a few different brands to find one that didn’t make him sick. As soon as I started feeding him blue buffalo, he was so much better! He seemed to feel a lot better and honestly his coat got shinier and softer too. He seems so much healthier ever since I switched. My roommates cats get fed different food but they always want to eat my cat’s food if they see it out lol

My Maine Coon, Soka, absolutely loves Blue Buffalo and is super fond of the chicken for indoor cats. The first time we got it for her and the bag ran out she got so dramatic when she saw us put the bag in the trash. lol, she meowed at the can and laid down to mewl dramatically down the hall. You should have seen her when we brought out the new bag, I guess she thought we were gonna starve her. lol. Anyways she has been on Blue Buffalo for 2 years now and has the shiniest coat, and it’s silky soft. I’m not gonna like for a couple months during a financial difficulty we switched her to the Rachel Ray Nutrish, and not only did her fur get dull, but she was lethargic and my allergies began acting up with her. (I’m highly allergic to cat dander, and haven’t had any issues with her, ever until we switched foods) As soon as she went back to the Blue Buffalo her coat sleekness came back, she was full of energy, and my allergies dissipated. I believe it has to do with how well her skin and coat is under the care of Blue Buffalo, she doesn’t have a lot of dander to bother me with. Like she literally sleeps in my bed. I will never go to another brand again, we will scrape Pennies to make sure she has her Blue Buffalo! 🥰
Healthy ingredients.

Hi, I realize that a "5-Star Review" might not be noticed by your Team but, I'm hoping this one is. I've been researching the nutritional requirement-ratios best suited to my cat, Boo, and have questions for you. My Boo is an 11-yr old indoor, domestic long-haired cat (of no discernable breed) although he has truly long legs! His all-black coat is lustrous, his manner is delicate and his nature is sweet. He's the only cat, of the dozens of Kittiies I've loved and lived with during my 72 years, who's acutely aware of "his size as opposed to my size"; consequently. I never pick him up (even by the scruff of his neck, like his Mom would've) since he does not prefer it. Everything is HIS choice (!). So, what's all this got to do with this review (or, more to the point, what are my actual questions?). Well, I was in a pickle (Rx expired) and recently purchased a 5lb bag of your Blue Buffalo Wilderness Adult Dry Cat Food (Chicken) for him at my local grocery store. Boo had only ever eaten another, prescription-brand gastro-specific dry food for his entire life because Boo came to live with me after my JoJo, a Munchkin with a very long orange "Lion-like" coat and a fragile digestion, hence, prescription food . Then, JoJo passed naturally in 2022, at the age of 19, but I didn't change Boo's food. I also don't want to go to the Vet every time I run out of his food. Boo's always grazed and doesn't care for "wet" or "people" food at all so I worry specifically for his protein needs because cats are carnivores, I must also consider his overall vitamin and mineral needs, especially now that he's a Senior. I've learned the minimum protein requirement for a cat is 30% and that the first three ingredients of dry cat food must be "meat" (chicken, fish, beef, pork, duck or lamb). However, none of this matters if your cat doesn't like it, right? That is not Boo's problem as he loves your Blue Buffalo Wilderness kibble so forgive me but, does this specific kind (adult, indoor, dry and chicken) TRULY satisfy the necessary percentages of nutritional needs of my much-loved 11-year old Boo? I've tried looking up each ingredient and adding the individual percentages but am honestly flummoxed. And, if not the kind I tried, can you suggest another? Note: Boo only prefers Chicken-flavor food or treats. I expect this Review will be edited for length since I obviously have a problem with "concise" but, I appreciate your help and thank you for your time. Lastly, I want to provide Boo with his best -- and longest -- life which is the main reason, I believe, you make these fine quality foods so you can see why I need answers.

We have used blue Buffalo in the last since our two cats did like this over other brands. But I am sad to write this because we are so disappointed in this food as of late. This food made our cats sick and had disgusting bugs in the bag which makes us think quality control may have gone downhill. We are hoping blue Buffalo will make this right because this is not cheap and to make our felines sick with this amount of disgusting bugs to start an infestation is insane!
1 reply from Blue Buffalo Care Team team - 11 months ago
At BLUE, there is nothing we hate more than hearing of a sick pet. Please know that our process is designed to reduce the possibility of infestation. Some insects can bore their way into tightly sealed packages during transportation and storage. We'd like to learn more and assist you further so please reach out to us directly at https://bluebuffalo.com/about/contact/. Thank you.

I've been thoroughly impressed with Blue Buffalo cat food. It's evident that they prioritize quality ingredients, and my cat absolutely loves it. From the moment I started feeding it to her, I noticed an improvement in her coat and overall health. I highly recommend Blue Buffalo to any cat owner looking to provide their feline friend with top-notch nutrition.

The kittens love it. Meaning the grownups. The texture is not too bad, wish they would make them a bit softer though. They’ve been eating this for a few years now and don’t seem to want a change yet.

My 2 year old cat has always been very picky with his food and has even refused to eat certain brands altogether. When I switched to Blue Wilderness, he couldn't get enough of it. Even before I opened the bag, he would be squalling and begging me to fill his bowl. He absolutely loves it and it gives him plenty of energy! Best cat food I've given him so far.

Had a stray jump on my lap in October. She was emaciated. Her hip bones basically touched, her face was sunken in, her tail felt like a twig, and her coat was brown and brittle. 3 short months later, she gained 6lbs and doesn't look like the same cat.

Too expensive but it’s a quality dry food for my cat. My cat loves this brand. I don’t see myself purchasing too often at the suggested retail price.
