Doesn't burn my eyes at all. I use this on my face and arms when I run because I was tired of my eyes burning after just 20 minutes on the road. And yes, it's the greasy white kind of sunblock—the kind people have been using for 80+ years. If you want the invisible kind, you need to use a chemical sunscreen. I bought this specifically because I wanted the old stuff that wouldn't burn no matter how much sweat ran into my eyes and this does the trick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sheer Mineral Sunscreen Lotion is effective in providing my family and me complete protection from the sun when we are outdoors. I like the it is paraben and fragrance free. The easy to apply design is very effective when I am on the go and my family needs to quickly apply and head outside. I like the smooth texture of the lotion and I like the fact that it does not leave a white residue on the skin or clothes. I would definitely recommend this product.

Recommend by my dermatologist. Does not irritate my sensitive skin or bother my rosacea. Great mineral sunscreen that rubs into skin without a white cast and without pilling or flaking. Only negatives were it is a little pricey and it will continually leak out of the tube if the cap is not on tight. It also makes your face very shiny/greasy looking which is not ideal.

For a water-resistant mineral sunscreen you could do worse, but I wouldn't go around recommending this. It left a very slight white cast on my fair skin and I think it would have a very noticeable white cast on most skin tones. It also has a VERY shiny finish and feels tacky on the face all day.

I had high hopes for this brand, but it was a letdown. This sunscreen blended in well and did not leave a white cast. The next day after wearing this sunscreen I noticed my skin was burning, dry, and irritated. Also, this is such a small amount for a higher price point so I don't think the cost is worth it.
