I love this flour! I bought it to bread chicken breast's. I first coated them in honey mustard and then rolled them in the hazelnut flour. Absolutely delicious! I also wanted to add it to my favorite cookie recipe

I’ve been baking gluten free and sugar free lately. A combination of hazelnut and almond flours (2:1) gives cookies a wonderful texture and sweet, mellow flavor. Bobs Red Mill nut flours are fine ground, fresh, and really delicious.

Delicious flour!

The hazelnut flour from Bob's Red Mill is absolutely delicious and it became easily my latest baking obsession. I have used in similar to almond flour, in many recipes: pancakes, waffle, mug cakes, muffins, breads. In recipes that I also use cacao it brings a delicious flavor, superior to Nutella. It pairs very well in apple and carrot breads. I sometimes even mix it with my oatmeal. And who would think that hazelnut breaded chicken is a tasty thing? The texture is more course and gritty, it won't work for recipes requiring finer flours. Most times I end up mixing it with other flours, since it's such a heavy flour. The flavor is rich, buttery, nutty, I rarely got to taste better quality hazelnuts. I highly recommend storing the flour in the freezer; being so buttery, it goes rancid very fast.

I made a banana bread with hazelnut flour with walnuts and chocolate chips. Tried it the first time like this and i could not find any recipe in the Google. It came out very nice and so tasteful and delicious but it was getting out of it shape. It was not holding, crumbling. Next time, i should try to mix it half and half with some regular flour, so it can hold and have a shape.

I love this stuff! I’ve been using it for years, now. I put it in breads, cakes, any and all baked goods. I even use it for the breading mixture I constantly keep in the freezer for when I bake chicken. Yum! And the breading mixture I use for making gravy, as well, when I stir fry chicken. Definitely yum!

This is great flour, I enjoy using this in place of almond flour, as it gives me that wonderful hazelnut (filbert) flavor that I love.

I used this instead of almond flour in oat bran biscuits. The biscuits are already pretty sensational but this flour gave them an extra nutty flavor, as well as a darker appearance. I'm looking forward to trying it in other baked goods.

Wheat Free Hazelnut and Chocolate Cake

I used the Hazelnut Flour along with chocolate to make a wheat free cake that everyone loved and has requested that I make again. I started baking with nut flours when we found out my daughter is allergic to wheat. They are healthier and delicious. I have also tried the Almond Flour and Walnut Flour which were also excellent.

I made a shortbread cookie with this flour and it was really great. You don’t need to use it full strength, but maybe use half oat flour and half hazelnut flour. Really good with a Nutella frosting.
