Bob's Arrowroot is a good thickener for fruit pies, gravies. It doesn't have the flour or corn starch taste. Works just the same but allows the flavor of the pie, meat or stew to come through

I used the Arrowroot instead of cornstarch because the latter is truly not good for our bodies. It blended very well and made a nice gelatin for a strawberry pie.

There’s tons of uses for arrowroot…I use mine to make my own natural deodorant (with no aluminum) and have used it a few times as a thicker in soups. I’ve never used any other brand; once you find a winner; you just stick with it!

I love using arrowroot - good with thickening fruit sauces and I use it for stir fry to thicken the sauce. It's delicate and smooth - a little goes a long way. The sauce gets to thick, add more liquid - so easy! I love Bob's Red Mill food products - they are the best - have even toured their plant, visited their store - so fun and love the fact that buying their products supports American food industry and workers since the company is employee-owned!

I used arrowroot flour for thickening baked fruit desserts. I tried it for the first time in a Gluten Free mix to make crust and it came out great. This is a much better deal than buying a small spice jar of arrowroot.

If you are looking for a cornstarch substitute, you have FOUND IT! It is always wonderful to find a non-GMO sub for something we tend to use so often. This brand is stellar and the arrowroot really is the perfect flavorless thickener for soups. Love it!
