I made this swapping in light olive oil for the butter to lower the saturated fat amount. It's so dry and has no flavor. This is the second time I've tried this product - first time made per the regular instructions and it was dry and tasteless then too.

This mixture is so good. I usually make my cornbread from scratch. But Sprouts had this on sale, I think it was buy one and the 2nd one half off. So I had two packets. The first time I made this I cooked it in a convection oven and I always make my cornbread with buttermilk. These were delicious but they really came out looking like biscuits and not tasting like cornbread but biscuits. No problem I made sausage and gravy and ate them up. The 2nd packet I had moved into an apartment with a real stove so the mix was the same with the buttermilk. This batch came out more like cornbread than the first batch, and again delicious ! The ingredients are very good and the nutritional information works for me. I may make these again using this packet but I prefer my cornbread made from scratch! But this packet of cornbread mix definitely competes with a scratch made version! Very, very good!

First of all this does not bake well, never turned "golden Brown" at all. Looks as bad as it tastes. This was a complete disapointment. I wasted eggs and milk making this. I rate this ZERO.

Delicious and moist, cooked in a 8x8 instead of 9x9 (what I had) Replaced 2 eggs with 2 tbs B.R.M. Egg replacer and 4 tbs water, let sit 5 minutes before adding to dough. Turned out delicious

I made muffins with this recipe and was very good. So glad there are gluten free options for those who need it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it definitely is missing that 'corn' taste. But overall pretty good and not sweet at all.

Just today, I used this mix to make 15, medium sized cornbread muffins. I added 3 eggs instead of 2, and put a half of a teaspoon size piece of butter on top of each muffin, before baking. I used muffin paper for each round in the muffin pan, because I hate cleaning the muffin pan. When hot slice each one down the middle, which allows one to put some butter on a half, before eating it. They were delicious! If you like a little more sweetness, I recommend that you drizzle some honey on them :) Enjoy :)
modify directions for an 8 inch pan also, please.

I love all Bob's Red Mill products. This corn bread is low in sugar and high in taste and texture. I would like to suggest a change in the directions. Please add directions for an 8 inch baking pan also. Most people and I don't have a 9 inch pan and people like me that don't make it often, forget to add 5 minutes to the baking time.

I purchased Bob Mills cornbread mix and made it as directed, it tasted like eating card board. It really needs to have some sugar added to the recipe. I was disappointed. Had to make another cornbread from scratch. The cornbread did not go to waste , I put in my backyard for the animals to eat. They had a treat!

Included the muffins in a meal for friends who are gluten, dairy and egg free. I made this with Chobani extra creamy oatmilk, oil, and 8 tbsp of Just Egg and the muffins turned out great! Cooking like this is definitely out of my comfort zone but even for someone without dietary restrictions I thought they tasted good.

Terrible! Had hardly any flavor (tastes like cardboard) and not sweet. HEB gf cornbread is hands down the best! Was hoping this compared but it’s SO BAD!

This is the best CornBread I've ever eaten!! Not only does it taste Amazingly Delicious... I feel really GOOD after I eat it (no heaviness in my belly!!). The only variations I've ever done are: 1. Use extra creamy, no sugar added Oat Milk (instead of cow's mile), 2. Use Organic butter (instead of oil), 3. Use an extra egg or two depending on the size (I use slightly less milk then), 4. Add cooked from frozen, drained, organic kernel corn to it (I like a lot, so I add close to 2 cups). I use a tall edged 9x9 pan and cook it slightly longer. BEST CornBread ever!! :) MY parents would have LOVED it... Thank you Bob !! :)

Was very disappointed in this mix. Made it to go with my Taco Soup. I’m looking at the instructions here and they are TOTALLY different than what was on my package! Mine rose like a cake…WAY up there and was gooey in the middle. Oven temp called for 350*, not 375* as here. I’m wondering if there was an error in the printing of my package. I was beginning to think that my oven was going out. I normally love Bob’s Red Mill products, but not this one. It came out dry, VERY wheat-ey and not very good. Threw out the rest!

Love this GF cornbread mix! I make it in a cast iron skillet in the oven and it comes out perfectly every time. I make sure the ingredients (eggs, milk) are at room temperature. Soooo good with chili or by itself for breakfast with coffee. :)
