Q: can this be used to grind flaxseed or coffee only?
A: nooooooooooooooooooooo
submitted byur stoopid - 2 years agoA: Yes, flaxseed (and chia seed) grinds fine and evenly in this blade grinder. 1/4 cup takes about 10 seconds. Flaxseed and chia have a lot of fat so some the ground seeds will cling to the inside of the grinder, which will have to be wiped out after each use. I've been grinding both seeds daily for over a year with no signs of blade damage.
submitted byKerryT - 2 months agoA: The BISTRO Electric Coffee Grinder is specifically designed for grinding coffee beans only. We do not recommend using it for other items, as this may dull the blades or cause the grinder to malfunction.

Q: How loud is this grinder?
A: Thank you for your question! The noise level of the BISTRO Conical Burr Grinder varies depending on the type and volume of beans being ground. On average, it operates at about 50 dBA with a standard amount of medium roast beans, making it relatively quiet and unlikely to disrupt your morning peace. Hope this helps!

Q: Can you remove the metal cup for washing?
A: No, the grinding cup is not removable. Instead, use a soft, damp cloth to carefully wipe out the cup, being mindful of the blade. Allow the cup to dry completely before the next use by leaving off the cover for the fastest drying.
