The grandkids loved it. They enjoyed all the different templates for drawing. Even the adults were using them. The storage tray that snaps on is perfect for holding the templates.

She also liked that you can take the back board out and trace non-templated items. She put a book behind the screen with an image and then traced the image. She liked that it is erasable but also that there is a safety feature so that you don't accidentally erase a sketch when you don't want to. She has been raving about this for weeks and loves it!

The easy to follow steps on the templates are perfect for her to learn and build on. I wish there were more templates available to expand on the skills. But this is a great tool to encourage creativity

It comes with all accessories to learn how to draw including templates. Children can become very creative while using this and learning at the same time. It encourages writing skills along with critical thinking skills. The template cards are easy to use and just slide under the transparent boogie board. Very easy to draw using a stylus and with just a simple push of a button you can erase everything. It also has a lock button so you dont accidentally erase your work. The Sketch studio is made with high quality materials and very durable. I would definitely recommend this to children wanted to do arts and draw.

It is definitely geared more towards older children who are attempting to learn how to draw vs scribbling around. My only suggestion is possibly laminating the sheets slightly to make them more resistant to ripping.

It takes a spin on the old tracing magnetic doodle type situation and brings it into the next century with a battery powered erase button. Users can lock the screen so that drawings can be protected from erasing. There are multiple different picture screens to put in the back to trace over or you can add your own design to draw along with. In a handy, durable case that travels while and holds lots of extras, it makes a great toy to take on trips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me preface by saying my family absolutely loves boogie board products- they are such a fun way to eliminate paper waste. With that being said, I had high expectations for the sketch studio and they weren’t met. The kit includes an assortment of drawing tutorials ranging in difficulty. You chose one of the pictures and slip underneath the board. Next, you trace what you see. Here comes what I didn’t like about this activity. It came with no instructions other than what is on the packaging. The tutorials make it seem like You erase some lines to finalize your artwork. However, you can not erase anything without resetting the whole board. So essentially you as just copying and tracing the pictures. I don’t feel like it really teaches you to draw anything. my 7 year old son didn’t have any issues with this, and rather enjoyed the monotony of tracing the lines (although he did get frustrated it couldn’t erase). My ten year old said she would prefer to just use a regular boogie board. It is nice that everything fits inside so you don’t have to worry about losing any pieces. I think it would make a great addition for a long road trip, as your child could entertain themselves without electronics.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sketch Studio kit is a very simple and efficient way for kids to practice their drawing. The screen cleverly records their stylus actions and then there's a big button that erases the entire screen is a pretty satisfying way. No mess or waste of sketch paper stacks or broken crayons. My only complaint is that the practice tracing sheets are very limited, so we'll need to make up some of our own. Also it is sad to have to erase particularly good drawings, with no way to record them for your kid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy loves to draw, he’s constantly searching for paper for his little sketches. This was the perfect little tablet for him. (Although not an electronic tablet in the traditional sense like an iPad.) This gives him the templates and teaches him how to draw. It’s a fantastic tool for him to use his creativity and draw while also learning in the process. It’s easy to set up and use, he basically did it himself with no help from me. The minute he opened it, he couldn’t put it down. He’s used it every day after school and has been more interested in it than his Xbox which is a win for me! I’m really excited he’s so into this and can’t wait to see his creations.

It's easy to put the template underneath and trace. It can be reused multiple times as well. With every use, he gets a little better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping this was going to work out doe my 9 year old daughter, which it does..to a certain extent. Some of the drawing templates are a little kiddish, which is understandable, considering the starting range is 4+. There are a few templates that she thought would 'challenge' her, so she messed with those a bit. Keep in mind, she is huge on drawing, so this was neat to her, but a little out of her zone. This would definitely be perfect for kids that are just starting with their drawing, but I honestly didnt pay attention to the age. She does still like drawing on it, she likes that it has a lock button so that she doesnt accidentally erase her work. Once he get the 'demo' template out, it is pretty easy to switch out templates. It also comes with a cubby that the board clips to, so your little can have somewhere to keep the pen and template cards, perfect for on the go! All in all, cute concept!

My son absolutely loves to draw on paper but has been using this board nonstop since I got it. The stylus is perfect for drawing with and small details. It has a lock feature to prevent erasing but the best part is the erase all button. With just one click the screen goes completely blank to start over. I love that it has a built in storage container for all the pieces that come with it.
