Boogie Board VersaNotes Reusable Notes 4"x4" Starter Pack: LCD Writing Tablet for Kids, Drawing Pad with Stylus, Battery Included

I received the Versa Notes Boogie Boards as a gift and I initially thought it was going to be a great concept. As other reviewers mention, the pen (erase - magnetic feature) stopped working within a month of receiving it and its not like I used it a lot! After going to my co-workers to find their workable pen I was tired of having to go to them so I Googled my Boogie Board Versa pen will not erase. Lo & Behold it has batteries - 2 AAAA. Yes, you read that right four A's. The VERY tiny screw is under the attachment clip. I am hoping once I get the batteries it will work again. I may change my star status if it starts working again! I wish it would have been more clear there were batteries and maybe even come with the tiniest screw driver. It literally is teeny tiny, probably like the size for glasses.

If you lose the pen. You’re out of luck. No way to erase the message and start fresh.

I wanted to love them so much. I bought 2 sizes and the desktop display. The concept is great, but they don't erase consistently. More times than not, it was a fight, tapping the thing up to 10 times before it would erase. I take credit card numbers all day long over the phone and these would be perfect to write them down, and then erase when I was done. They were simply too frustrating. I sent them back. The return process isn't the easiest either but at least they allow it.

I wanted to love these reusable notes and I thought they would be great for making notes and taking with or having in the car but the magnet is completely useless. I stuck the magnet in my car and the note does not stick it at all. It’s simply slides down.

Used for one day. Eraser no longer erases. Smudge marks don’t go away completely. Cool idea, bad execution.

Great concept, not so great implementation. Writing looks fuzzy and minimal contrast makes it very difficult to read. Unfortunately I don't see them being used.

Wanted to love these. But, at least for the colored ones, the “ink” is too faint. The notes are hard to read. I have not tried the black ones yet. Hopefully they are better.

This product is terrible and a waste of $. I purchased it at Walmart and have barely used it, maybe twice, and already cannot erase and reuse. Very disappointed as it was not cheap.

I thought these looked really cool so I put them on my wish list. They are not worth the hype. The "ink" bleeds over time and becomes illegible; pressing your hand on the "paper" leaves a smudge, and just sitting on a desk there are weird ghost marks.

As a teacher I use hundreds of sticky notes. These are a game changer! No more pads of post its. My students love them too. They like to ask me how to spell something so I will write it on the versanotes. They think it's magic when I erase them. Absolutely LOVE them! I've given them as gifts to all my teacher friends.

Great gift, the 4x4 starter pack, for my co-workers. They really loved them.

Great for at work jotting down a name or number. I work in healthcare so I can easily “erase” for confidentiality. Eliminates paper / shredding. Purchased for work friends actually used as their gift labels at holidays . Also great for kitchen where I can never find a piece of paper.

While we love the re-writebility, I hope future versions can make the writing brighter. We are in our early 60's and find them a little hard to read.

The writing on the post it notes is blurry and difficult to decipher. Disappointed.

The writing does not stand out well so it can be hard to read and smudges appear as you write. Great concept but needs improvement.

Just love them, they are perfect for any notes, reminder, etc. And avoiding excess of paper and garbage around you, plus they are so cute

Use them for work instead of 100 post its a day. LOVE IT!!!
