Q: what is the difference between the sound link revolve and the sound link revolve plus? other than they are 100 difference. Bose Bluetooth wireless speakers

A: Hi, That's a great question. Even though both SoundLink® Revolve and Revolve+ utilize our omnidirectional acoustic architecture, resulting in true 360° sound and deep bass, they provide different levels of performance. SoundLink® Revolve+ is larger and generates higher volume, more room-filling sound than SoundLink® Revolve. SoundLink® Revolve+ also has a carrying handle to make tote-ability easier given its larger diameter. SoundLink® Revolve+ has a 16-hour battery life, while SoundLink® Revolve has a 12-hour battery life. All other features are identical. Have a great day!

When it works it’s great but there seems to be this constant glitch with connecting to Bluetooth, and then randomly disconnecting from Bluetooth. It’s random. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. So frustrating for such a high priced item.

I do think it's missing some basics - it doesn't really have a good "auto off" function if it's been connected to a smart device like Alexa and I think it should turn itself off to conserve battery if it isn't plugged in. I also wish there was a few more buttons... the "multifunction" button can be confusing and having to connect through the app is weird... Plus now there are multiple Bose apps and they don't all work together.

Hi Betty, I am very sorry to hear about this. I would recommend to ensure your SoundLink Revolve + is up to date. Here is how to manually update it: 1. Using a PC or MacBook, open a web browser and navigate to https://bose.life/3hRmwIT. 2. Click "Download" to install the Bose Updater. Note: If you've already downloaded and installed the updater but it's not currently running in the background, click "Launch." It's recommended to always download the most current version of the updater. 3. Click "I Agree" to accept the End-User license agreement. 4. A download box should open. Save to the file to your computer. 5. Once downloaded, open the file (BoseUpdaterInstaller_xxxxxx) to install the updater. 6. Once installed, the page should refresh. If it doesn't refresh on it own, click the "Click here" link at the bottom of the page. 7. The Bose Updater should now be ready to connect your product. 8. If an update is available, click "Update Now" to download the latest software. The current version and the changes in that version are listed. Your current version is at the bottom of the page. Note: The product images in the screenshots below may not match your specific product. The process is the same regardless of product. 9. The update will show a progress tracker while your product is being updated. Do Not disconnect or power off during update. 10. I'm thinking about adding a couple of smaller speakers for upstairs and our screen porch. Initial setup was easy, and linking this to the Home, my Echo, or my phone is easy too.
