Q: Just opened the 14 oz container and it smells strongly and has oil separated on top. Is this how it's supposed to look? Want to make sure this is normal before using it on my baby.

A: Thank you for contacting us regarding your recent experience with Boudreaux's. It sounds like the paste has separated. That has been known to happen when the paste is exposed to higher temperatures for an extended period of time. We recommend storing it in a cool, dry place such as a hallway closet. Please do not leave the Butt Paste in your car, bathroom, etc. since the temperatures can vary drastically. Also, please discard the separated product if you have not already done so. If you can, please email through our website, or contact us by phone at 1-855-785-2888 Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Eastern Time to provide the LOT number from the bottom of the container that starts with the letter "C" as well as the store you purchased it from. Once we receive this information, we will be happy to issue a replacement coupon for your product.

This product is wonderful, my daughter has very sensitive skin and can break out with a diaper rash is minutes. I slather this on and her skin is virtually healed the next day. 100% amazing! The smell does take getting used to but it’s worth every penny

I liked this stuff but thought it only came in a tube, which is harder to get out when you’re wrangling a baby. Desperation and the tub design is why I spent so much money on Triple Paste. I’m glad I found this instead

Cured our little one from a bad diaper rash at 2 weeks old. Big fan. Baby's skin is less sensitive now, but this is what we use when baby's bottom looks a little red and stops it in its tracks.

This is a must-have for any infant or toddler. Buttpaste soothes and provides relief instantly. We've found many uses for it even with our oldest when there is chaffing on a hot summer day or redness in those tucked away spots where underwear or diapers sit.

I use this buttpaste for my daughter and it works great so far. No scent and texture is creamy. Packaging is convenience to use with a great value. However, it doesn't work if there is a poopy diaper stay little long

With my two kids I’ve found this is the best diaper rash cream. Even heals fast when they have become irritated before use! It doesn’t really have a strong scent but for the price it’s nice.

This red tube of boudreauxs butt paste is the only thing that helped my middle son when it came to his crazy diaper rashes. He was allergic to every diaper brand but Huggies and had a milk intolerance so he constantly had rashes no matter how dry I kept him. No scent, super thick for great coverage, great product for sure!

This is a baby must have! Around the house, in your diaper bag. It instantly helps and prevents diaper rash. So easy to use. The cream itself is thick but absorbs to baby’s skin.

I had a lactose sensitive baby many years ago. It caused him to have a horrible diaper rash until we got my milk cleared up and the supplemental formula switches. We had tried others, but they made him scream. My mother brought me a tube of this Butt Paste max strength and he didn't scream, and within 24hrs it had started to dry up! It stinks in my opinion, but it is going on a booty, and is probably the best smelling thing that will be down there until it gets wiped again! It's very thick and sticky so it will do it's job so be careful to not get it on your clothing or babies clothing.

This used to be my go to for my first baby. She rarely had a diaper rash but when she did, this stuff got rid of it in a single use. Now the formula is incredibly oily and doesn't seem to work at all. At first I thought I got a bad batch but I've since had multiple tubs and tubes with the same oil problem. The oil won't mix back in and the paste under it is super watery. We will be sticking to Aquaphor from now on.

Works great as a skin protectant and to clear any diaper rash that may develope. I wish it was unscented but it doesn't have a bad smell. Very thick cream that does "pill" sometimes when wiping it off
