I no longer use Bounce of any kind because the smell is horrible & overwhelming. WHY did they change something that as perfectly great the way it was for years! I even tried other” fragrance free” dryer sheets and they smell horrible as well. I simply gave up and don’t use ANY fabric softener or dryer sheets. Liquid fabric softener is also going downhill fast. It used to smell fine and suddenly it is strong and unpleasant. What is going on?

Like others are saying these smell very bad for some reason. I have used for a long time but had to return them recently and switch brands. There is a very strong chemical odor of some kind which is terrible considering they are supposed to be free and clear. It’s truly toxic smelling.

I came home tonight to my laundry room and thought a pipe had burst in my wall because the entire room smells like mold and mildew. But I couldn't find anything. I had just bought a box of these a week ago and they were unopened and my cabinet. Something intuitive told me to open the box. I open the box and smelled and literally almost puked. Something is contaminated and wrong with these wipes and Bounce needs to know about it.

After using these for years, we have had to switch to another brand. Not sure what changes the company may have made, but the dryer sheets now smell like mildew. One box completely stunk up our entire laundry room.

The box smells awful. It sat in my linen closet for one night and the closet and hallway smelled awful the next day. I’ve been using this product for a few years and never experienced this before. I bought the last box from CVS, not sure why the product from Target is so bad. I will be returning it ASAP.

Have been using these for years but the last box I bought smelled like mold/mildew. Was so strong we had to put it in the garage while we waited to return it. Thought it was a one-off but all the boxes in multiple stores smelled like this. Also, I’ve read your responses to the many other reviews stating the same problem. Please don’t respond with “We have strict quality controls…” You seem to have a manufacturing problem.

Horrible! They are supposed to be fragrance-free and they have a disgusting smell. I didn’t even know how to describe it to Bounce customer service. I would much rather use the scented ones I’ve used for years. Call and tell them if you feel the same way. It’s the only way they might fix this issue.

Smells horrible! I thought this was fragrence free? But it smells like dirty water . I couldnt believe how strong the smell was. I returned it. Checked the store and all boxes smell without even opening the box.
