The width of the ledge is too narrow to hold a large cookbook when it’s open. Also it’s short so my cookbook was much too large for this size holder. I’m going to be returning.

This is not a bad looking, functional stand. The problem is the bottom that sits on the counter. It is very sharp metal and would scratch the counter terribly. I will be returning.

This is a very attractive cookbook holder; the weighted chains are handy for keeping a page and can also be used as temporary bookmarks. I like that the holder folds for storage. I ordered online and despite being shipped with absolutely no protection aside from the shipping box, it arrived unscathed.

First one arrived scratched, but thank goodness for Target’s easy returns, I was able to order a new one and it’s perfect! Very substantial and high end looking, I love the little ball details, beautiful and functional - they hold down the pages of my cookbook perfectly while I’m using. Makes a pretty piece of decor when not in use, I could not love it more!

This cookbook holder is a beautiful and much-needed addition to my kitchen! As a slightly messy cook, having the recipe on a stand where it can’t be spilled on or misplaced, this is a lifesaver! I wish the angle was slightly lower, and the shelf to hold the cookbook a little wider, but those are all personal preference that don’t impact the function. Definitely a beautiful piece!

This cookbook holder saved my life this holiday season. Gone are the days of having to try and keep your book open on the counter while dropping ingredients on the pages. I loved that I was able to hold my pages open at the base and also with the weighted balls for extra security. It looks very elegant and holds even the thickest of books.
