Braun Silk-Expert Pro 3 PL3020 IPL Hair Removal System - 3ct

I've been using this laser for about 3-4 years now not still functions well so no issues from a device durability standpoint. I have a light-medium skin tone and dark hair. The device adjusts the intensity based off your skin tone, so it usually drops to a power intensify for me automatically. It definitely does work by reducing maybe 25-50% depending on the area. Even with weekly treatment it is at most 50% reduction (it like hits a cap) and if I miss a week or two a lot of it grows back. Any bate patches never stay that way if I miss a treatment or two. In addition, it seems to also trigger hair growth in neighboring areas that don't typically have hair growth. I was hoping for a more drastic result and more permanent removal but likely because of my skin tone this is probably the best I can get. But the device is FDA approved so it's much safer than other devices on the market and it's affordable. If you have lighter skin this will probably work better for you, medium skin tones you probably will have reduced effectiveness and dark skin tones the device will not work for safety reasons.

I will say I have noticed some difference in my armpits.. some good and some bad. The good is even though the hair growth hasn’t stopped completely, it has grown back softer so maybe that’s the first step. The downside though is that I use to not be very sweaty and I have since gotten sweatier and noticed more odor than I ever use to. I haven’t noticed any difference on my legs or face. It comes with a carrying bag to store it in. It is very easy to use. Plus in, press button, and let it warm up. Press to skin and press button, move it along skin with button held down to cover more area. If it doesn’t have good skin contact at any point it simply won’t work so you will know if your doing it correctly. The light flash is very bright but there isn’t any pain at all to me as far as my legs or pits go. When I use it on my chin area, there is more of a sensation. Kind of like a rubber band but not as bad. It’s def more tolerable than I thought would be. Overall I do have hope that if I continue to use this weekly that I will continue to see better results!

I’ve used it for a few weeks and have started to notice not as much hair grows so I don’t have to shave every night and seems to be thinning out. Definitely read the instructions before use! I didn’t want to use it on my legs after reading them. You can’t have sun exposure for several days after and I didn’t want to deal with the irritation on my legs. You need to shave before using. It comes with a Venus razor. Once you get going with it it’s pretty easy too use. It causes a little irritation and warmth, nothing unbearable though. Comes with a carrying case also.

My hair is already thinning and I don’t have to shave as often. I will keep using weekly until I reach my desired results. The recommendation is to use monthly for maintenance. In certain areas it feels like a very light rubber band snap sensation (not painful) and in other areas I don’t feel any discomfort at all. Love this product!

I’m definitely not lacking hair and was looking for a hair removal solution that’s easy to use, low maintenance and truly works. So far, I’m really impressed. I’m 4 weeks in and already seeing a difference. I‘ve noticed a definite decrease in hair growth and the hair seems to be much finer than it was before I began. The unit is easy to us with thorough, straightforward directions to guide you through the weekly process. There are 2 treatment modes, gliding and stamping depending upon the area you are treating and size of the area you are covering. So far, I’m thrilled with the Pro 3! A third of the way through, I’ve found the process to be painless, extremely easy and it truly seems to be working!

You can use it on your legs, body and face. With SensoAdapt smart IPL automatic and continuous skin sensor. Which continously reads your skin tone during treatment. And automatically adapts the energy for optimal efficacy. You have 2 comfort modes. Normal and gentle. Super fast to use. Treat both legs in 9 minutes. It takes 4-12 weeks for the start up phase. Treating the area once per week. Then the in between time which the hair falls out naturally and regrowth is reduced. Once you've done the treatment. Then you just maintain every 1-2 months. So simple!! I'm happy. I'd definitely recommend trying this product.

I have been using it for a bit over 6 weeks and I am seeing less regrowth. I know I still need to use it longer to see more possible results and there will still be maintenance that will need to be done. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the Braun IPL PL3012 for several weeks, and I have used it 4 times, with one week between uses. I have fair/light skin (always burn without sunscreen, but can tan) and medium colored hair. The skin on my lower legs is not sensitive, but it is very sensitive on my inner thighs and bikini line and underarms, which makes shaving painful. I have not had any adverse effects or reactions to using this product. The PL3012 is relatively easy to use. The biggest challenge for me was looking away from the device when the laser was in use. For this reason, I found it easier to use single pulses (stamp mode), move the device to the next spot, and then activate another single pulse. The head does gently glide along the skin if you choose to use the glide mode. There is a slight stinging in some areas that quickly goes away, but in most places there is only a warm sensation. It is very similar to how it felt when I had laser hair removal done at a salon, but much more affordable and easier to schedule. The included booklet says it can take several uses over a few months to interrupt all the hair's growth cycles. Thus, I don't have significant results to report yet. I am optimistic that continued uses will reduce or eliminate my need to shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun Silk Expert Pro 3 Hair Removal System has been great to have at home. You can use this right out of the box, there is no set up required. I really liked that it comes with a razor. The directions are so easy to understand and follow. With my skin color and hair color it worked really well. I really like that when you are using this if a part of your skin or hair color isn't correct it won't work, you will see a red light. On areas you can use it the flash will go off on it's own. The flash is very bright on this. I do end up wearing sunglasses while using this. That would really be my only issue. There is a little bit of heat that the light and flashes give off. But this does not hurt at all. You can also turn down the setting on here if you don't need it so high or if you are a little bit more sensitive. This is very easy to glide over my legs and and other areas I am looking to use this on. I have been using this for a number of weeks already. I have already seen a difference in how my hair is growing back, and that I don't have to shave as often.

Features include a precision head, SensoAdapt skin sensor, automatic energy settings and a gentle and normal mode. The instructions are thorough and easy to use. Too soon to tell how well it works but give this product 5 stars for look of product, state of thr art technology and ease of use.

I have been using it once per week on my chin, arms, and leg hair. It only takes about 5 mins per session, and I'm already seeing less growth than usual. I look forward to future results already. I was surprised by how fast I can get my legs and under arms done. You only have to do it once a week so it’s only a small amount of time I need to dedicate to the process. If you hold the button down you can flash continuously and get a whole area done much quicker. Pain is very minimal. It just feels like a rubber band snapping on the skin. I've been using it for just over 3 weeks and can attest that I already see less hair growth just after 2 uses. The directions recommend using it once a week but I have not so if you actually do you could see more of a reduction tha I do. I have patchy growth over my knees and shins with obvious areas where the hair has not returned. It supposed automatically adapts to skin tone and automatically sets the laser to the aptimal strength but I DID have to reduce the strength due to a burning/ stinging sensation at the automatic level. It has a precision head available but mine did not come with one. However the head that it came with has worked well for armpits, bikini area and legs. I have not tried it in smaller areas. It took me about 10 minutes per leg, but I may have been overly cautious about getting each area as the product infor that you get with it states you can get both legs in under 15 minutes. Overall, I would definitely recommend to those looking to reduce overall hair growth and reduce the amount of time that you spend on hair removal. I have dark hair and my skin tone is pale, for comparison.

Look over the quick guide.it has 3 intensity levels, and since I light skin I used high power. You just glide it and keep it on skin from top to bottom. Moving slow.it works great. My legs are smooth from the treatment. And aim not intimidated anymore. Very easy to use
