I bought this after my original Sensepil IPL died after 15 years of use. I love how fast and easy it is to use. It glides right over your skin and it’s almost instant instantaneous zap after zap. It doesn’t hurt.

After 2 months the device stopped flashing. I’d recommend the ulike.

I am 60 and have dealt with painstakingly, life-erupting facial hair since I was 19. I don’t look at people. I don’t want people looking at me because I am so self conscious. It’s been a real issue my entire adult life. I have waxed, plucked, shaved and it’s popping back in minutes afterward. I have never been able to feel good in my own skin because of it so this is why I am skeptical. I found this on an ad. First time I tried it I was shocked by the heat. Scared the begeezus out of me. I like the sleekness of the product. It comes in a very lovely case with all the various heads. I’ve never been able to afford professional laser hair removal so this is all new. I am praying I see some reduction of hair on my face. I may be a little too late as a lot of my hair is now white growth. I plan to update this review after one month.

I have been a furball most of my life. For clarity, I am an olive-skinned Hispanic with dark, thick, stubborn hair. While I do not have curly hair, it is very wavy and curly in some places. Anyway, I started out shaving like we all do in adolescence. Then in my late teens, went into waxing of ALL kinds. In my 20's I invested in a Braun Silk-epil. Then later I tried laser. All these things are money and time consuming. Now, I STILL use my second Braun silk-epil (I accidentally killed my first one in Australia because of the voltage variance) anyway, now I just epilate and use this IPL ALL over and can honestly tell you I hardly have growth on my chin, armpits, calves or arms. I am trying to be diligent with the usage before summer time but of course, you have to pace yourself when using IPL. I have only been using this for 2 months and the difference is already evident. I know these devices are not cheap but neither is going to the salon every week or month. This process is so quick, so effective and so painless (to me anyway). I recommend any one as furry as me give this a shot. You can start putting money away for this device now and have it just in time for summer.

I did laser hair removal at a spa and purchased this device just to maintain. It takes multiple attempts to get the flash to happen even when placed properly. The device has barely been used and the flash actually works only 1 out of 5 attempts even when the light says it’s properly placed on my skin. It’s out of warranty and never worked properly and didn’t maintain my hair removal at all. This just wasn’t worth the cost for me since it doesn’t work properly.

The first Braun Silk Expert Pro malfunctioned and Braun replaced it. The second one just doesn’t work. It helped a little on my legs, but did absolutely nothing on my face. Wish I had saved my money and gotten a professional laser treatment.

I've been using this product religiously for months and have seen no results. I have light skin and coarse, black hair.

I purchased this bad boy a few months ago. Worth every single penny! My skin has never been softer or smoother. I go weeks with out shaving and I finally feel like I never knew I could. I am 41 years old, I wish I could go back in time and purchase this device. Life changing!

I bought it exactly a year ago . My hair is medium thickness , dark but not black . Target areas : legs, bikini , underarm , arms . I also tried chin but did not shave prior to applying . I have to use it for abt 3-4 weeks to notice reduction in hair growth . After about 2 months there is very little hair regrowth ( so if I shave it will not grow back for 4 days and even after that will be barely noticeable) . If I stop using the product , the hair unfortunately eventually regrows ( this is stated in description but one can still hope for a miracle ) . I think it regrowth slower and thinner which is also a plus . Overall , it’s definitely worth it for me - my skin feels so much more smooth , I barely need to shave when leave on vacation or in general in summer . It is also almost completely painless.

I have had mine for 7 months but since we moved during that time I was just busy and didn’t use it much. I have only used this 12 times on my chin so that doesn’t take long and it quit working! I am so sad 😞. I spent way too much money for it not to last.

I research a lot until i decided to get this device . I been using it for 2 months and i love the results . honestly it takes a while to do all the zones but is worth it , after 4 weeks you definitely will see the difference , in 8 weeks the grow of the hair is very slow. And then the device just start shutting down by its own after use of 5 min ... that is one half leg . Technically that means 8 - 9 uses and its shuts down that i dont think is worth the money . in will try to reach out in warranty but that truly disappoints me

I have not had an issue at all with the device. I cannot believe I did not get this sooner. I feel all my issues with dealing with shaving, skin irritation and just having to shave again after just 1 day are completely gone. My life has gotten so much easier. My skin feels smoother, no bumps or irritation and best of all the hair growth has diminished significantly. I can go a little over a whole week before I start seeing some growth but like I said, very little. Amazing product. I highly recommend.

Love, love the long lasting hair free results!! I wish I'd had this 20 years ago. I've gotten results similar to laser hair remival at such a reasonable price. Go ahead and buy this - you will wish you'd done it sooner ;)

I bought this about 6 months ago as a last desperate attempt to help with my body hair. I have PCOS and am also Latin so my genes were definitely against me. I have tried almost everything including shaving, nair type products, at home waxing, and epilating but almost everything took so long to do my whole body and results didn't last long enough to make it even worth it. I almost stuck with epilating because it at least kept hair away for longer and I could tolerate the pain. I bought this IPL because I liked my Braun epilator and felt comfortable with the brand and I have to say it really changed my life as far as my body hair goes. I did the treatment exactly as it says and I have seen amazing results! I would say I've had like 85% reduction in hair growth in treated areas (legs, underarms, stomach) and it grows SO MUCH SLOWER. If I shaved or anything that only cut hair to the skin, I would see hair coming back within 6 hours. After finishing my IPL treatments, I see hair coming back about 1-2 weeks later and it's only in patches! I now only IPL if my hair starts to grow out and I have plans and have to shave anyways. I plan on doing my lower back and face in the future but for now I am extremely satisfied with the results. I now have some confidence in my body as far as hair goes. If you are on the fence with this product, get it!!

Within 5 or 6 treatments I’ve seen an 80% reduction in hair. I’m sure it’ll be 100% gone by the 12 treatment. For reference I have light/medium skin and dark body hair. Using this IPL device has not been painful at all. It has taken longer than I expect to treat my legs. But overall I’m very happy.

I used my braun IPL for a year and in the middle of a treatment it stopped flashing, everything else worked (skin sensor etc) but instead of delivering a flash, it would only make a clicking noise. I kept the device stored properly when not in use and always cared for it per the instruction manual. Now that I’m out of the warranty window, it has completely stopped working when they claim it should last for YEARS! I’m so disappointed and would not recommend.

I bought this earlier this year and used it weekly for 3 months. Had excellent results within just 5-6 weeks but I wanted to hedge my bets. Now I use it once every 6 weeks or so to maintain but I get sparse, slow fine growth. Before this product I have tan skin and dark hair and had coarse stubble on my legs a day after shaving. Haven't noticed any growth on my armpits. I'm now purchasing one as a gift for a family member.

I hardly ever write reviews, but this product deserves a great review! I have PCOS and I have spent SO much money over the years on laser hair removal packages for my facial hair. After a series of professional laser hair removal, I get a few hair free months, but then the hair comes back little by little. I have to start shaving again while deciding when to go back in and spend the money on another series of treatments. With this Braun IPL, I can treat my facial hair at home - saving time and lots of money!!! Honestly, I was skeptical when I purchased it, but my results were quick. This product is incredibly effective and my facial hair is under control for the first time in my life!!!
