Love the blender. It does a fabulous job making smoothies, crushing ice. Self cleaning feature is a big plus. Well made, quality construction.

The description of the Breville Blender is described as "Breville Fresh and Furious 5-Speed Blender Silver BBL620SIL: 1100W, Stainless Steel Blades, Smoothie & Glass Blender, 50oz Capacity". There was no GLASS blender jug/decanter in the delivered box....It is plastic. Called customer service and was told to bring it to the closest Target store for a full refund or replacement. The representative was unable to confirm that the blender jug is glass or misrepresented. After speaking with the customer service representative, I did a search on the model number, BBL620SIL, and other vendors list it as BPA free or plastic.

I bought this back and June and have tried to use it several times and it is just awful. Does not blend anything. I have followed the recipes and it takes forever to blend anything and always gets stuck. I am constantly having to take the lid off to mix the ingredients. It takes me over 5 minutes to get anything to barely blend.

Pros: surprised that the jug is plastic, but it's lighter and makes it easier to handle. Cons: it's super noisy.

My blender was on the way out - fast. I drink 2 smoothies a day, everyday, so I couldn't hold off on replacing. What I thought was a great blender is light years behind the Fresh & Furious. Between a very easy to clean blending pitcher to a motor base that is super self contained, this is the new standard for me. I love the smoothie setting - I can push the button, walk away and come back to a perfectly blended and delicious drink that doesn't separate. I am only sorry that I didn't know about it before - would have made functionality and clean up much quicker - now I know and have passed the word on to others.

I wish you would make the lid Easier to remove. I would recommend it but not to an older person the lid is too hard to remove.

Not sure this machine is better than what my Cuisinart blender does. I was hoping it would do a better job with making smoothies using frozen fruit and ice. Often leaves pieces of ice intact no matter how much a blend. It's very loud as well. The self cleaning feature is nice but not much different end result than doing the same thing in my Cuisinart blender..

I was looking for a powerful blender and I found it with my Fresh and Furious blender. It makes the most wonderful smoothies. I simply drop in my ingredients and allow my Fresh and Furious to do the rest. I have even placed raw vegetables in my Fast and Furious and it makes great soups you can heat or enjoy cold. I highly recommend my Breville Fast and Furious!!!

My 8 year old Breville blender needed a new jug as the bearing in the bottom was about worn out. I decided to upgrade to Fresh and Furious and was amazed at how much better it is. I thought my old Breville blender was great but the Fresh and Furious does what I used to do in my old one in half the time. I make smoothies every morning with frozen strawberries and pineapple, oatmeal, almonds and almond mild. Fast and Furious lives up to it's name.

I don't normally review much but this Blender deserves it. Well done to the design team. Thank for making such a good Blender. Very smooth and easy to use/clean.

I love the blender and how it blends. I don't love the new hard plastic lid is much harder to put on and remove. I'm using the lid from my previous Breville blender which fits perfectly and makes life much easier. Secondly, the little rubber suction cup feet on the rear of the unit are soft and just create instability instead of holding the blender in place.

I Purchased this February 2020 and use it on average three times a week For making smoothies with the only frozen element being single banana. It started to go wonky being louder than usual and taking a bit longer to blend. Today is started to overheat & smoke after not being in use for over a month!

Great product at a great price! My nephew and his wife love it.

I have many Breville products. I owned a previous Breville blender that was glass, heavy, and quieter. This new one "plastic" container and base plastics ?? A premium price, but not a premium product and the first time breville has disappointed me

I loved this blender when I first purchased it. I bought it after it was reviewed by America's Test Kitchen (one of their favourites). I used it almost daily for smoothies and it worked well (is loud on smoothie setting). Under a year the motor went but it was still under warranty and it was quickly replaced which was great service by Breville. One drawback was that it came with a newer lid which was horrible (food gets stuck under the rubber ring and mold develops; once you clean under the rubber ring, it then becomes difficult to place the lid on the pitcher - I see there are similar complaints by others in their reviews). My daughter has the same blender and now just over 3 years her motor has gone (smoking and smell; of course no longer under warranty). We simply can't justify buying another one when the motor doesn't last.

Makes great frozen smoothies in 60 seconds. I use mine almost daily. After about 3 years the bearing in the canister went bad and Breville replaced the entire machine for free as it was still under warranty.

I purchased the Breville ‘Fast and Furious’ blender to replace a another NEW blender, a Ninja. The Breville is wonderful. It has completed every job to perfection. Another plus is the blender is so easy to clean.

Very powerful blender works like a charm. Excellent!
