Description
Express yourself! Transform your hair with colour that lasts 5-30 washes. The hydrating formula conditions as it colours, leaving your hair silky smooth.
Before dyeing your hair perform a test on a small hidden section to make sure you’re happy with the results. Everyone’s hair is different so the results will vary.
This dye highly pigmented for our brunette friends. For lighter colored hair, dilute the product by mixing with conditioner to achieve a softer shade.
1. WASH. Shampoo and dry your hair. No need for conditioner.
2. PROTECT. Pop on some gloves put petroleum jelly on your hairline and cover your clothes.
3. APPLY. Use a brush or your hands to apply the dye onto your hair. Massage it into your hair for flawless even coverage.
4. WAIT. Check the colour after 10 minutes and see if the colour has taken. You can leave the dye longer without damaging your hair. The longer you leave it in before rinsing, the longer the colour tends to last after.
5. RINSE. Rinse out the colour in a sink or basin.

Q: I have no dye in my hair, it is all natural. The color ranges from dark gray to white in spots. Do I need to do any bleaching or any pre-treatments? I am just looking for a purplish tint to my hair.
A: Hi - No bleaching or pre-treatment needed if your are looking for a hint of color. Bleaching/ Lightening to a more uniform color before application will create a more vibrant color. Happy coloring.
submitted byBRITE - 3 years agoA: In no way is this pastel it doesn’t dye evenly if you have a lot of hair just mix two parts this with one part conditioner and leave on for an hour and you should be alright 💅

A: Hi, The colour will fade over 5 to 30 washes depending on your hair. All hair is different and the colour and fading will depend on your hair type, the condition of your hair, previous colouring and treatments. Remember, any variation in your hair colour before application may show through to the end result, especially with pastel shades. Hope it helps BRITE

I washed it a few days later and it washed out! I use color care products. It was fun for one day,but now I have a weird peach color.It's vegan,but has some not so good ingredients. Back to Punky Color!

Q: i stopped dying my hair and have 4 inches of white roots. i used the light purple and left it in for 20 minutes. it did nothing. not even a tint. is this normal.
A: Gray or virgin hair can be more resistant to semi-permanent color since it lacks porosity. Pre-lightening with bleach can help create a texture for better pigment absorption, or applying the color multiple times may help build up the tone.

Q: Will this work on dark red ish - burgundy hair?
A: Semi permanent colors can be used in various shades to add pigment to all hair types. The lighter the shade and the darker your hair the more the color will be toning or tonal rather than bold. Many of the BRITE team use semi over the top of other shades or lightened hair to adjust the color to a more suitable shade. They can be a great way to customise your own color or help transition a color. Remember with each wash a semi will continue to lift and lighten in color.

Q: will this kill my hair
A: Hi there - semi permanents are direct dyes and the color sits on the hair without a chemical reaction. The base is a super hydrating mask so your hair should feel fab after application. Remember to strand test and semi’s work best on lightened hair unless you are after tonal color.
