So far she has made a few decorative pillows and fixed some work pants but they came great. We have no previous sewing machine experience so she is learning as she goes but overall it has been straightforward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brother CP80X 80-stitch Computerized Sewing Machine is beginner friendly. I had a lot of fun figuring out how to use this machine. I have never used a sewing machine in my life but I always wanted one. I'm glad I had the opportunity to test the Brother CP80X 80-stitch Computerized Sewing Machine and take it for a spin. It came with very detailed instructions and lots of accessories like different types of needles a few different feet ,seam ripper ,a few extra bobbin and more.. It also came with lots of built-in stitches on a computerized screen and has 8 auto size buttons button Holes. My first project I tried to do was a patch jean jacket. I didn't quite finish it yet but I will. I love that this machine is light weight and easy to store. I think it's Great that you can use with or without the foot control. All you need to do is use the start / stop button A quick user tip is that the start stop button is disabled when you use the machine with the foot control .It has an easy to use needle threader a fixed needle bar and a bobbin that sets on top. The Brother CP80X 80-stitch Computerized Sewing Machine has a flat bed attached to store accessories. I have been watching tutorials and planning my next project idea . Absolutely amazing product

That being said, let’s dive in. Brother is a quality line of product and a brand name that’s been my my house since childhood, our machines become part of the family. This new machine is just an upgrade for us as our other is still in useable condition but will be a hand me down as we dive into the new computerized version. The machine itself is durable and well built of quality materials. The instruction are detailed and easy to follow. The machine has a digital display and 80 built in stitch setting. The machine when opened includes the hardware and needles but no threading so be prepared my fellow threaders. Motor is strong and kind of quiet and the Machine itself is light weight and easy to manipulate. All in all a decent machine that won’t let you down

Not only is it super lightweight and easy to move around, but the machine itself works wonderfully. It's very user friendly. With a little time and practice, I easily got the hang of it. There are so many different stitches that you can really make your project unique and I love that they are right on the front of the machine for reference.I tried to make a curtain or the kitchen window for my first attempt. It came out nice. I can't wait to try more complex things.

This is perfect for both my husband and I for different uses. He's always looking for an easier way to do basic clothing repair and this is super helpful! So easy to use, the bobbin is very easy to install and the machine feeds the fabric with ease. The 80 stitches was a nice plus from adjusting the stitch length to decorative stitches. A great overall machine that sews on light silky fabric to heavier cotton fabric with ease. Very happy with the Brother CP80X and highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a quality solid sewing machinethat will last for years.

The large screen makes it easy-to-use which enables computerized stitch selection and free arm capability for sewing cuffs and sleeves. So far, I can include zigzag, buttonhole, zipper, button sewing, overcasting, blind stitch, monogramming, and quilting feet. There's a nice protective hard case to boot.

I've taken a few sewing classes and am just a beginner but the machine is easy to use and the features are amazing. The price point is also nice for a beginning machine. I appreciate that it has 80 built-in stitches, the needle threading system for those of us with "old" eyes, and the on-line tutorials. It was also really nice that it came with several additional accessories. I look forward to using this product for a long time (especially with the 25 year warranty) and becoming a better seamstress. Recommend.

I can't find any videos for this model online. I have a Singer sewing machine and it's easy to use. I spent a few days setting it up and finally I tried some different stitches, so far so good. I will try to do button holes next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gem of a sewing machine is easy to use and sturdily built. It was packaged well and everything was intact. My wife has experience of using sewing machines in the past and found this one incredibly easy to set up in a matter of minutes. The diagrams on the machine itself showing how to load and install the bobbin and thread the needle meant that these actions were achievable the first time around, and everything else was just as simple. She had a lot of fun trying out some of the 80 stitch styles provided which can be selected using the stitch selection keys, the numbers for which are clearly displayed on the LCD display. Also easily accessible are the controls for determining the stitch length and width to be used. We were able to download and activate the quilt design software without too much difficulty and it seems to be very user friendly. Quilting is something that we have both been wanting to do for some time and so the software will be invaluable. Thrilled with this sewing machine and its attachments and looking forward to hours of fun.
