I was sent BSN's Syntha-6 Whey Protein Powder in the flavor Cinnamon Toast Pastry to test out which came at the perfect time because I had just ran out of my plant based protein powder. I often find myself not eating enough protein to sustain muscle growth so this protein supplement has been a great tool at delivering significant protein content without having to consume excess calories. Although I was concerned due to the whey content I can confirm that it caused me no bloating. It mixes very well with water no gritty texture. Taste is great as well which will keep me using it consistently since that is usually a problem of mine when I don't love the taste. It gives the perfect cinnamon toast flavor without being too sugary and without compromising on taste which I really appreciate as i've been trying to cut back on my sugar intake. Although I'm new to the gym and nutrition world I was glad to see that it contains several protein sources that have slower and faster release rates. Overall great product can't wait to try other flavors from this brand.

The taste is also quite close to tasting like a cinnamon poptart and at 28 servings per container I’d say it’s a relatively decent value.

However, the macros aren’t ideal for a pure protein supplement with 16g of carbs to 22g of protein. A great supplement overall, though, and Syntha-6 has the best flavors, if that’s your primary concern

Goes really well on pancake recipies, ninja creami ice cream, sauces... You can totally taste the cinnamon pop tart sweetness and creamy richfullness, specially when blending it with milk. It also dissolves very well and fast with water, there's no powdery after taste at all. My only problem with this protein powder: as a bodybuilder, I'm always taking into consideration protein x carbs ratio and this product has too much carbs for my liking. We're talking about 16g carbs for 22g protein in a dose, which I consider not very good. Also, I found the ingredient list not so clean: sunflower oil, corn syrup.. So, once again, great protein powder for recipies and once in a while consumption, but no my main dieting product due to its nutrition facts.

Per serving, This protein has a little too many calories and excess sodium / cholesterol than my liking. Good protein though if looking for a high protein per serving product.
