This item weighs 200lbs, empty. The four legs that support it are connected with nothing more than two wooden dowels. The front right leg broke completely off while trying to move it the few feet from where it was assembled. This item is dangerous and should be recalled! See posted photos.

LOVE this cabinet! I thought it was great quality! The instruction were great!

I absolutely love this buffet/hutch! I had no issues putting it together by myself (I'm a 5'4" woman), just needed help getting the hutch on top of the buffet. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow and it really didn't take too much time to assemble...it took longer to unpack all the pieces! I had a damaged part so I contacted the vendor at the phone number provided and received a replacement part in about 4 days. They made it very easy and quick to get replacement parts. It is made of very solid wood and looks like a high quality piece of furniture. It looks amazing in my dining room and fits a lot more in it than you think it would.

Bought this and buffet it was good quality but, for the price could have been more put together does take some time but, worst part is that it is impossible to get in touch with any kind of person if need replacement parts. 1-800 # keeps sending you to voicemail even if you want to wait. still don't 2nd buffet put together because they sent the wrong pieces and now can't get back in touch with them again. Finally sent e-mail but, no response yet.

Arrived very well packaged. Yes, it did take over an hour to unpack and clean off the pieces, but well worth it. It did take my husband and daughter 4 hours to assemble both top and bottom. Nothing was damaged. Perfect tea cabinet for my daughter!

The hutch arrived quickly in 3 large boxes; two were very heavy. As reported by others it did take several hours to assemble, but assembly was not difficult. There was one spot where the black finish was dinged. A glass panel on one of the doors was cracked and the other hung crookedly, so I filled out the online request and the new doors arrived a couple of days later. The drawers are shallow, so I wouldn't plan on using them for large serving utensils. Overall I am very pleased with the hutch and think it looks great in my "casual" dining room.

It took my husband 3 days to assemble it. But it's worth it

The bottom piece is built great! Soil piece of wood furniture. It came packed amazingly well (each piece was wrapped and there was little to NO damage on any piece.) The only downside was the fiberglass like "film" that was all over the pieces. :( But with a quick wipe down it came off easily. The top piece (HUTCH) is good for the price. Its not as "solid" as the bottom but was easy to put together and looks great. Again the only issue was the fiberglass participles all over the pieces, but yet again with a quick wipe down it was clean,. Also this top piece had more damage then the bottom (lots of pieces scratched, warped, or chipped). But most you cant see thank goodness (such as the shelves (which now have stuff on them).

This buffet w/hutch is more than I expected. The construction is very solid, all pieces are good quality and it was not difficult to put together. I was impressed with how well it was packaged and everything arrived in excellent condition. It is exactly what I was looking for and looks great in my kitchen!

This takes quite a while to assemble and is on the cheap (quality) side. I am afraid I am going to break the doors when I open.close them!

This item is of extremely poor quality. After looking for over a year for a cabinet that I liked, I found this one at Target.com and it really seemed to be just what I was looking for. We received it last week and went to put it together this weekend. I must say, I was extremely disappointed in the quality. Almost every piece had a chip or ding or the black finish was coming off. I was prepared to deal with all of those but when we went to finish the buffet and the drawers were not straight - two of the three were very slanted - and the right door would not grab to the magnet and stay shut - I gave up.

In the end, this product turned out looking very nice, but if you buy this, be ready to spend some time putting it together! All in all, it probably took my husband 3 or 4 hours to get it together - not to mention the week and a half we had to wait for parts. The company mails things out quickly, but they actually sent us the wrong pieces TWICE, even after we e-mailed a picture of the piece we needed!!

Really happy with my recent purchase. Building the piece was not hard, came together simply with the instructions provided. Was delivered quickly, within 3 or 4 days. Sturdy and decorative. Provided the extra storage we needed in our eat in kitchen. Only one complaint- it didn't match perfectly with the cherry and black table and chairs I already had, but it's not that different that I can't live with it.

I was unable to find the exact product I purchased from Target, it was this piece like this, but with cherry wood and a stainless steel working surface. This is very heavy and arrives with a large number of parts in 3 humongous boxes. It was very complicated to assemble. After partial assembly, I decided to return mine because of finding so many places damaged, including a large 12" split in one large piece. I chose not to re-purchase it because of the damage and pain at having to un-assemble, re-pack and re-ship. The end result would have been very attractive, the color and stainless top were impressive, IF IT HAD ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION. I would not order anything made by this manufacturer in the future, and chose to look for another item for my needs.I will say that Target was extremely helpful in returning the item. Buy at your own risk.

Overall, I would say this piece was a good buy. Obviously it is not great quality, as it is composite wood and still a put together piece of furniture. It took my husband and I (and he is a genius at this time of thing) about 3 hours to put this all together. I was a little dissapointed in a few of the pieces, some arrived a little dinged up or had fallen apart in shipment. The "glass" in the hutch is actually plex-glass. Once it was all put together, I was pretty happy with the finished product. It actually has a lot of space-I was able to fit 2 complete dish sets inside! We had to order a part from the company because they forgot it, so we will see how long it takes them to send that!

I would have paid 3x the price in a furniture store for the same or lesser quality of this piece. Yes you put it together but you'd never know when you're done. I think it took longer to unwrap each piece from it's protection than it did to put it together. The hutch is very, very, solid/well constructed and looks just WONDERFUL. Even with the protective packaging, a couple pieces came "marred" on a couple of edges but rather than complaining, I just took a black sharpie and you can't even tell. I DEFINATELY recommend this product! They even supplied extra screws, etc. to be sure you had enough to put it together. The instructions are a bit intimidating, but if you go slow and pay attention, you shouldn't have any problems. Just don't OVER TIGHTEN any bolts.

We needed some storage in our apartment kitchen...we have a nice kitchen but only one set of cabinets. The difficulty with our kitchen was that it was pretty small as well so we needed to get storage that would be practicle and look nice too. We saw the reviews on this Buffet/Hutch and took a chance and we're very happy with it. It fits perfect and looks awesome in our kitchen. You just have to be aware that its not super easy to assemble and that it will take you a while to put it together. That being said it is a sturdy piece of furniture and I think it will last a while and may be the reason it takes so long to assemble - alot of screws to keep it sturdy. We love it...just have your patience ready when you put it together.

This cabinet is great and a perfect addition to my Manhattan apartment with limited kitchen storage space. It currently houses my wine glasses, wine/liquor/ microwave, and other odds and ends in the drawers. Looking forward to filling it all up with more stuff!Some caveats- The unit took about four hours to build with three people all working together (including my boyfriend who is an expert builder of things.) The directions are straight forward if you read them carefully, but we still made some mistakes and had to improve towards the end to rectify them. A side piece (t4) for one of the drawers was missing, so I have to call them tomorrow and have them send another. Also, be forewarned that if you live in a walk up building, getting this package upstairs is going to require some heavy lifting- its 200 lbs divided between three packages (my roomie and I split up the loads on the first floor and carried them up four flights. fun!) That said, it was worth it- definitely higher quality than other brand stuff and sharp looking.

Once put together, the buffet hutch looks great, but when it arrived several pieces were damaged and screws were missing from ripped bags. This required a call to the manufacturer and another week of waiting for replacement parts. It took about 4 hours for a few of us to put it together (one person did the majority of the work and two of us assisted). It was a big frustrating since the instructions were not always the easiest to read, but in the end it came together.

This is a great hutch. It is well sized and has a lot of storage on it. Looks really good assembled.Assembly is a problem. The instructions are hardly step by step with some pieces not labeled and each "step" of the instructions has you put together like 10 different pieces with only a picture to guide you. Took us two full nights to put it all together.Now that it is assembled though it is sturdy and looks great with all of our china on it.
