This shade isn't quite as vivid as Strawberry Rhubarb and Orange Marmalade. Like Bramley Apple, it needs multiple coats, and I often use Mellow the Yellow to make it stand out a bit more. It's great as a nail rescue, but needs a bit of "help" in the color department. I might try layering it with something like Afters or Proper Do.

I like layering this one on its own or with Mellow the Yellow for glazed donut nails. I might try it over a pink or red lacquer at some point in the fall, or adding a red lacquer to darken the shade.

Another reviewer commented that Victoria Plum is the nail polish version of Clinique’s Black Honey - they were RIGHT. I’m obsessed with this polish! It’s sheer with a nice subtle color that can build in density. So minimal and pretty! ✨

I tried this as an option to Nail Glow, and I like it! It's darker but I put sheer Essie Sugar Daddy on top of it and it makes for a fabulous nail! You can't beat the price point, and it is less goofy than Nail Glow. For $11 it's worth a try if you're on the fence and don't want to pay $30+

This color is the equivalent of Clinique's Black Honey lipstick,but for nails! It's a sheer tint that will flatter most skin tones. You can build the color with multiple coats. My nails look good without polish,but AWESOME with this. I can also put it on without needing a major clean up afterwards. I have noticed it keeps nails in good shape too.

The ridges from overfiling my nails dissapeared jn only a couple weeks. My nails look and feel stronger. The plum is a great color, a light wash of neutralizing purple in 1 coat, building up to a pretty orchid tone with 3 coats. While I love extensions, my nails had been in rough shape and this formula allows one to wear a strengthener that has a bit of a glow to it. I have it in one of the other colors and will continue to use it. My tiny nails love the thin rounded brush, it doesnt flood my cuticles and it dries a little slow but not any worse than nail polish imo.

I did SH on one hand, and Butter's plum jelly strengthener on the other to protect brittle nails. Butter's sadly peels, loses shine, and didn't prevent extreme breakage that happened. SH chips but at least the nails are not coming apart. Bought it because of instagram but best to just stick to what you know

Since they changed the door glow formula this is my new to go. I should have been buying this all along

Found this while looking for a dupe for a luxury brand that does the same thing this advertises to do. It's definitely a hit and ill be repurchasing. Please dont reformulate this and mess it up like the other brand did.

Thin and does not protect-it could be the cold weather too but my nails starting peeling quicker after using this (versus Sally Hansen Keratin treatment)

I was hoping it would be more pigmented but it’s basically clear nail polish. Kind of disappointed.

I was so excited for this product to arrive, but it is ultimately underwhelming. I was thinking I could use it to lightly protect my natural nails, but it is streaky when applied, so it immediately requires several layers for even coverage. Moreover, it had a tendency to drip and slide into my surrounding skin, making it a bit of an effort to control the color and keep my cuticles neat. I didn't see a substantive difference in my nail strength (my nails were soft and peeling), but it didn't hurt them either. Discolored my natural nails slightly after a week of wear and four thin coats (how much it took to get even, pink color), but it looked pretty and didn't peel badly. I used a clear coat on top to keep it from peeling because of the many layers needed. It wore well enough.
