Same as the other comments. The spokes/holes are too small for the pieces to interlock. You can jam them but I’m afraid they’re going to break from the force. And no one will be able to disassemble it to use as coasters

It would be cute, but the slots on the pieces aren't wide enough so nothing fits together.
