I absolutely love this coffee machine. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, it makes the absolute best coffee. The same exact grounds in this machine taste totally different. I especially love the “gold” brew option. You won’t regret your purchase!

This machine makes great coffee. However it ceased working 2 months in. No heat (not even the carafe plate) and coffee does not brew. We spent an hour on the phone only to be told we'd "get an email with further instructions." It's been over a week, and no email. I send an email to GE support and the only response is to call back to the 800# so the same people will also not help us again. Oh and btw, the service number in the manual for the coffee maker is wrong. I hate companies who run around on clearly warranty issues. Just honor your warranty GE.

The warming plate for this model is designed to hold the temperature at 200° F for a maximum of 2 hours. This coffee maker is gorgeous. When it worked, it brewed quickly and was tasty. However, my coffee maker stopped brewing after a few months. I reached out and GE replaced it in a timely fashion. The replacement coffee maker also stopped brewing after another couple of months. This time GE refused to replace it, saying the email order confirmation was not proof of purchase. The exact same documentation I provided for the warranty on the original coffee maker. Unbelievable. They just lost the sale of a full set of cafe kitchen appliances. I had ordered the coffee maker to check out the color against my glass backsplash to decide if the appearance was enough for the costly appliances. They obviously do not stand behind their products. I would not recommend this coffee maker or any GE appliance after this disappointing experience.

Everyone loves the look of this coffee maker so I will not spend time on that. Most everyone loves the coffee that comes out of it. The "Gold" setting as determined by the SCMA works brilliantly. I LOVE this coffee maker, couldn't be happier. I did have one bad experience and may have written before on this this but the instruction manual does not clearly state how to run the descaling process. If you look closely at the print on the buttons on the machine, you will see "Press and Hold..." to start descaling. It doesn't operate properly if you follow the directions as written in the manual. Hopefully, they've corrected that. Now that I know how to do it, it works exactly as it's supposed to. My "Descale" light would not go off and I thought it was a defective machine and it was ultimately replaced but I now know that it wasn't. Again, couldn't be happier and I'm not someone who's easily pleased.

This coffee maker looks absolutely wonderful on my countertop. My glass backsplash have traces of copper in it so I spent extra money just for the looks. Sadly, looks is all got. After a few months, it just stopped brewing; the light would just flash and flash. I found no suggestion fixes in the documentation or website. When I reached out to GE, they were very responsive and coordinated my return and a new coffee maker. However, after a couple of months the replacement stopped brewing too. I'm still trying to return this one - quite an adventure - multiple emails and phones so far and still working on it. I considered purchasing the suite of appliances as they would have been gorgeous in my kitchen. So, so, so glad I didn't didn't.

This is our second cafe coffee maker. The 1st one lasted just over 3 years. I think mainly due to our hard water. Love the look of it and the coffee tastes great…hoping this one lasts a little longer.

I purchased this product to match our kitchen appliances. It is a beautiful match but does not function very well. After 3 months of daily use it stopped brewing coffee. The filter basket also overflows if you make a full pot of coffee, which is only 40 oz. I have also found that you need to add more grounds per oz of water, as compared to other makers, to get a reasonably strong brew.

This coffee pot was lovely for 13 months....1 month past its warranty it stopped working. Now it keeps erroring saying to add water even when the reservoir is full. I called twice...GE was very nice - but the first time they told me i may need to do the app update (never hooked it to wifi and pretty sure that the app isn't going to fix the water pump) and the second time they registered me for some way to get one at a discount (which honestly i would have been more than happy with). Turns out the website they sent me is MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THIS WEBSITE! WHAT IN THE WORLD?! talk about bad service.... We have other cafe appliances, sure hope they're made better than this and sure hope i never need service for them.....
