The kids are blown away with the extents of this store and love playing pretend with their critters in their critter kingdom. Such a wonderful and special break from screen time and junk toys when they play with this. Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our daughter loves Calico Critters, and has always been asking for a larger play set. I absolutly love that this one is so versitile and allows for hours of fun and creativity. Each of the "departments" and areas can be placed in any of the part of the shop, and on multiple floors, and the building swings open to allow many different configurations including a third floor if desired. The only thing I would change is a bettter way to hold the floor pieces in place and they shift slightly when turning or moving the building. The assembly ws easy enough but keep in mind that like all of these sets, some pieces are super small and can get lost.

It was fairly easy to set up, you have to put stickers on some of the pieces but overall it was easy and took about 30 minutes to get it all set up. This set has a lot of accessories that come with it so there’s lots of ways to play, but there are a lot of very small pieces. The details are cute in this set, the only thing was the flags fall off easily from the store but my kids love this set.

And, they were absolutely thrilled with the addition of this Grand Department Store. I have really enjoyed watching them set-up, arrange the store to their liking, and playing make-believe. This Grand Department Store is a beautifully designed large dollhouse type with two-levels and working parts, including many accessories. Lots of intricate, stylish, and charming details that make this store just stunning. Very well made and totally recommended.

Whats great is that you can add onto this with all the other sets that Calico Critters come in. My daughter loves setting up her own store and it creates a lot of imagination for her.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very cute set but I would not recommend for children under 6 and that us pushing it. If small children I would not leave the accessories in it I would have them put up and only down with adult supervision

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is huge with tons of pieces (a lot of very little pieces - more on that later). It took some time, and parental help, to set up the first time with stickers and pieces you have to pop out of plastic but my two girls, 4 and 8, played with it for hours. They set the whole thing up and took a bunch of their calico critters shopping. I will say my 8 year old is very particular and did get very frustrated with many of the tiny pieces. They wouldn’t stay or if you bump the store they fall off fixtures, etc. That would be the only downfall of this set if you have a kid who likes it to look just like the box!

She loves getting all her favorites out and visiting the Dept. Store with them. She loved decorating the store. All the accessories that came with this are great. She loves trying the dresses and purses and tiaras on her new calico critter Stella. There is plenty of room for all her calico critters in the Grand Dept. Store. The revolving door and the elevator are cool additions that she likes. It even comes with a chocolate lounge where all the calico critters sit and enjoy themselves some chocolate and drinks. Almost like a tea party. I also like that I can add on to this set with other areas of the town. I would recommend this to anyone who loves calico critters. My granddaughter loves it. It definitely is a great addition to her collection.

The quality seems to be meh not great but also not terrible. There were lots of tiny pieces and while my daughter is great with cleaning up those tiny piece are hard for even me to try and keep up with.

You will have to assemble this set but the instructions are easy to understand and I had it assembled quickly. I love the designs of this playset and the colors are nice also. This set is well made and will stand up to everyday play and will be used for a long time. The most important thing she loves it! She has already been playing with the set for a few hours now and because she has other calico critters of course she added them to the set. The calico critter it comes with is simply adorable! The accessories it comes with will have your little one having fun for a long time!

Really well made and sturdy. The kids put it together themselves, and it has been a great playset for the calico critters and numerous other assorted dolls.

It's perfect for improving children's fine motor skills when they are older. The set has many great details. The revolving door and elevator are a nice touch. The set comes with tiny decorations, store displays, and hangers. I only wish it would have more flat floors so you can stack them on the top and on the bottom at the same time to create a bigger area. Overall a great toy and perfect quality. My daughters love it.
