I have used this shampoo 2 times and the shampoo is super light, makes good lathers , nicely cleans hair. Contains natural oils and has no harmful chemicals like Parabens, Sulfates, Silicone and Phthalates. Love the natural fragrance of it. I will consider buying it again.

I feel like all the positive reviews for this product are incentivized because my experience was anything but. I really wanted to try this brand because of its natural approach, however when I finally used it, it smelled really gross. I can't put my finger on it, but it reminds me of wet dogs. This shampoo also made my hair feel really dry like hay and made it impossible to detangle without ripping my hair out (I have 2a/2b hair). My scalp was also itching like crazy afterwards. I don't know if any of the ingredients just didn't bide well with my skin/hair type. Also like another reviewer said, food-grade doesn't mean not artificial fragrance, so yeah, this brand is not as natural as it claims to be. So disappointed and will be asking for my money back immediately.

The smell is lovely. My hair feels super soft and calm. Super clean ingredients with 86/100 Yuka rating. One issue I did have was the pump was broken. It would not pop out for me to use so there’s that 😅

I've been looking for hair care that is clean and also affordable for a long time. I'm so glad that I discovered CN at my local Target. I was so impressed with their ingredient list as that is something that is very important to me. I enjoy the quality of all of their products as they are very consistent. This anti-frizz moisture shampoo does a great job of keeping my dry waves frizz less and saturated with moisture. I also love the branding and message behind this company. First of, I really do love the scent of this shampoo. It's a rather gender neutral "greens" smell and is great for springtime. However, I have really thick, coily hair and this product was just too lightweight for me. I was drawn to it as the brand advirtises for all hair types, however my hair felt very rough and straw-like while using it. There just wasn't enough thickness or slip for me. I do believe the end results were acceptable post-conditioner, but I can't bring myself to go through the application process in the shower again. This shampoo may work great for others, but it just wasn't for me.

Cruelty free and not tested on animals does not mean an item is vegan. This shampoo says that is vegan on the label. However the conditioner does not have the same vegan label indirect contrast. The Target website here says that the item is vegan. But if it doesn't say vegan, it's likely not, especially when it's counterpart in the line has a vegan label on it.. not sure why they decided to go with artificial fragrance when 99% of the product is supposed to be naturally derived. Food grade doesn't mean non-synthetic. And this fragrance is really strong. It doesn't fade after a while. Unfortunately I really don't like it and it's making me a little bit sick. If you don't mine's strong fragrances, you could try it because it did do a nice job of cleaning.
