A: Unfortunately, no. This product is for natural kinky to coarse texture hair used as styler to manipulate into two-strand twists, braidouts, bantu knots. If you would like spiral curls, I would suggest using perm rods or some sort of rollers and using a setting lotion. Brands that have mousse or setting lotions to set a curl (you can air dry over night or sit under a dryer) would be the following: Shea Moisture, Curls Unleashed, Texture My Way, Bed Head, Cantu, Aphogee, Carol's Daughter, Creme of Nature, Design Essentials, Jane Carter Solution, Mielle Organics, Lotta Body, to name a few. My favorites is Carol's Daughter, Cantu, Jane Carter Solution and Shea Moisture. I would love to try Mielle Organics and The Mane Choice. If Camille Rose made or makes one I am sure I would LOVE it. Camille Rose Naturals is my favorite Natural Textured Hair line. I hope that helps.

This is by far the best product for twist outs or braid outs. It defines your style without crunch. And leaves the hair so soft and moisturized. This on top of some leave in is all you need. No gel no mouuse. Perfect braid out/twist out every single time! I've been using this since around 2017... it's 2024 and it's yet to fail me

I agree with the recent reviews that the product has changed. The color is different and the sweet almond smell is less noticeable. I would give the old formulation a 5/5 review. So far however my hair still looks and feels moisturized, but I do combine this product on top of the curl love moisture milk and follow with the curl maker gel.
Definetly going to buy again.

Smells Amazing. I was tempted to taste it but I refrained 😆. It goes on smooth on my dry 4b hair and spreads easily. A little will take you a long way too, I only needed about a four finger tip scoop for about a quarter of my hair. I’m definitely going to be using this more.

I have low porosity type 4 hair and this twisting butter is a holy grail product. I recently started locs and I use the butter to smooth the frizz after I wash my hair. My hair is well moisturized and soft for at least a week. I don’t think this substitutes a gel or curling cream, there isn’t much hold, and the product is quite heavy so using too much, especially looser curl patterns or fine hair will weigh your hair down, so use it sparingly.

I love the smell it’s very soft light and creamy but I have noticed it’s a bit drying on my hair as I twist it and it leaves my hair dry - now I have to layer it with hair oil twisting it very quickly however once my is dry my hair feels fine. I’m still not sure I’d purchase this product again until I can figure out how this works long term on my hair.

My first jar was a smooth whip light yellowish color, brought second purchase back to store, owner did open another jar as I returned on shelf the same thing So why the change, it's hard enough finding the right products for naturals.

This butter is moisturizing, but I will warn you that the smell is pretty overwhelming, for me at least. It has an overly sweet smell that I personally can’t really tolerate. I’m only not using it because of that.

For me it felt sticky and dried it out. My hairs 3c for reference and my coils were nice and shiny after my hair routine then later in the evening it had a weird crunch to it and looked dull. Some parts were flaking as well.

This twisting butter is the truth! It's been really dry here in Southern California, and my hair was suffering because of it. I bought a jar of the this twisting butter and used it as a moisturizer. When I woke up the next morning, my hair was sooo soft, & extremely moisturized...I nearly shed a tear, lol. I didn't even use much and it transformed my dry lifeless curls into juicy, hydrated, lushness...I could not keep my hands out of my head! I just ran out and I will be repurchasing because this is now a staple product...it really is that good.
