I actually really like this oil it does leave my scalp oiled for about 3/4 days it’s very light weight an it smells really well it is a little expensive but it also grew my edges back from having a baby an going through postpartum I would recommend this oil every time my only regret is that when I saw my mom using it years ago I wish I had started using it sooner it keeps my scalp hydrated an moisturized it leaves my part an my scalp looking squeaky clean an my roots actually look healthy for a change

My hair has grown significantly, is noticeably thicker, and falls out far less than before. I originally bought this oil to help with dryness on my scalp and add moisture to my hair. Not only did it give me hydration, my scalp feels nourished, my hair feels stronger, and I’ve even noticed new hair growth! The scent of this oil is another pro—absolutely amazing. I wish they had a lightweight version or a hair mist so I could enjoy it every day. Since this oil is on the thicker side, it’s perfect for occasional use but not something I can apply daily. If you're looking for an oil that hydrates, strengthens, and boosts growth, this is the one. Highly recommend it.

This product came in clutch. My hair was thinning and growth was stunted, most likely from braids and lack of proper maintenance for my particular hair texture/type. Along with a few changes, this oil really helped my hair and it’s finally back full and growing. Very little breakage and maximum length retention. I do not over use the product on my scalp because it is strong in my opinion but, I do apply to my ends more frequently. Only experience normal hair fall.

I just did a wash and go using coconut water shampoo, coconut water treatment, hair milk leave in, and curl maker gel. Once my hair dried, I scrunched cocoa nibs serum oil in my hair. I can't believe how soft, moisturized, and defined my hair is. I just found my staple hair regimen.

I’m giving 4 stars because it actually made my hair soft but as for my scalp it caused lots of irritation and I believe it made my edges worse. Very itchy and thinning out more…. Good it worked for others. .

Lord I have been sleeping on this oil. I initially bought it for my daughter’s hair and just so happened to use it on mine one night because it smelled so good to me. We all had super soft hair the next morning and I ran back to that bottle of oil to apply more!! It’s so much I appreciate about this oil and it’s well worth the money. I went out and got 2 more bottles so my daughters and I have our very own bottle a piece! It’s lightweight yet very effective, it smells like cake which my kids absolutely love. All 3 of us have type 4 hair.

I wasn't really looking to grow my hair, I just needed a good oil to lock in moisture but growth I didn't even ask for is happening naturally!! There are so many additional reasons I would recommend this. - hair holds moisture for longer - prevention for breakage and split ends - bottle lasts a while - smells great One last thing I'll add, this is more of a surface application type of oil, I typically stay away from putting honey on my scalp. So ends and roots, yes!! but maybe not scalp (just my preference).

I use this to help with bringing my edges back. I use a small amount everyday for a few weeks and I am seeing some results. It is not heavy on my scalp and smells good too. I also use this on my 6 year daughters scalp and she has 4c hair.

I purchased Cocoa Nibs hair oil about three weeks ago. My reason for purchasing this hair oil from Camille Rose and others is because of the ingredients. Ms. Rose has clearly done her research to concoct an oil with all the right oils and extracts. I’ve been using this oil every two days and my scalp feels nourished and I’ve noticed growth. I have 3C /B type hair and as I’ve gotten older I’ve experienced shedding and together with my healthy diet, vitamin D, iron, protein and Cocoa Nibs my hair has less shedding when I comb twice a day. I really hope this product is never discontinued!

Like many others, I loved the original product. It doesn’t do much for hair loss on its own (use rosemary or minoxidil for that) but it did help strengthen the new hair and seemed to encourage faster growth. The new version does not seem to have this effect anymore. Could still be good as a general oil treatment but it’s nothing special now.
