I received this item as a replacement for my Woodwind 20. It's a huge downgrade and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There are a few issues I've been experiencing so far: It takes a very long time to reach the set temperature The ash catcher is a horrible fit and moves a lot The legs are unstable and weak No Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity Once grill "reaches temp" it is completely inaccurate after testing with several probes Camp Chef stands by their products, but they sent this in replacement for my Woodwind 20 (excellent smoker) and it is truly a joke. If I could request a refund, I would.

Love my new portable smoker. Fits great in my camper. Have used for 3 weeks. It smokes and grills my cowboy steaks to perfection.

Had a little trouble figuring out how to use it the first two or three times, after that its been good. Now one thing i am not particularly enthused about and one of the reasons i chose this unit it has a top rack which i thought would be very useful but it is not being that you have to remove it to turn whatever you are cooking because it is in the way . Other than that it has been a good purchase
Very easy to use and operate. Video is well done!!

Works well, wish it had the blue tooth at minimum. The only issue is tipping on its side or top to fold the legs. Otherwise great product

I was fortunate enough to get one of these in the spring of 2022 and we got it for our camper. This grill has been amazing and has blown away everyone that has tasted the food we have cooked on it. I have made steaks, corn on the cob, breakfast sausage, brats hot dogs, burgers, smoked hard boiled eggs, etc. and everything has come out amazing. I had a friend we were camping with recently tell me the steak we ate off of the grill was the best he's ever had. The first time we took it out was shortly after I bought it and I hadn't had the opportunity to smoke it in yet, so I did it at the campsite. It created a lot of smoke and attracted a few campers. I showed them how it folded down for transportation as well as how much cooking surface there is (more sq. in. than my now retired original Jr. Traeger!). They all came back later for a taste and agreed it was amazing. 2 of the 4 campers texted me later and shared that they bought Camp Chef smokers when they returned to home to Montana and North Dakota, respectively. You won't regret this grill. The clips that secure the lid closed are great for transportation, and the clips that hold the hopper closed keep the rain and water and the pellets dry. Amazing grill!

I have had this smoker/grill for a little over a year, and for the most part I have been pleased. We where full time RVers and this fit the bill, it works great if you keep in mind that it is small and cannot replace a full sized unit. I tried to use it like my larger pellet smoker that I had when we lived in a house, and attempted a small 10lb brisket. This was a disaster, with the temp set to 225, the bottom of that brisket was way overcooked due to the height of the bottom grill grate from the heat source. This rang true for any sizable cut of meat that i was trying to smoke. I ended up having to put the meat on the top rack (given it wasn't too tall of a cut of meat) and that solved the problem. I wish the bottom grate was a little farther from the heat source to protect the meat. Now if you are grilling burgers then the current set up is perfect! I also wish I could purchase a drip tray without vents, I didn't find the "direct heat" function to be all that reliable unless you put your meat directly over the flame cup, pretty much one steak at a time. This is a great smoker and great build, just tamper your expectations on what you can cook on this thing.

Fits well in our storage compartment. Dislike that it’s hard to collapse and out away in storage. Also, have only used 4 times and it now doesn’t work. We will be returning ASAP.

The fold up legs on mine do not fold correctly. The legs with the wheels are fine. The other legs do not lock properly. I had to put screws in them to keep it secure.

Bought this grill because of travel ball and we like to grill. The pursuit 20 is awesome so far. It gets up to temperature quite fast for pellet grill, it also holds its temp really well. The only I would change is how the legs fold. Manual says to lay it on it side, that is not handy but overall enjoy this grill

Very versatile and easy to use. Love the fact that I can also bake and grill and even get a sear while grilling. Plus it keeps the temp within +/- 5 degrees even when it is windy and cold. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I originally bought this for the portability but the legs are very awkward and it is way too heavy for my wife and I to load in our fifth wheel. The first time I used it the drip pan warped and it never sat in there right after that. It worked OK for a while but it was always very affected by even the slightest breeze and the temperature would be all over the place. After a few months it would start OK and then just go out for seemingly no reason. Several times I cleaned everything out and made sure the auger was moving but that didn't seem to help. One day I had finished cooking and turned the grill to shut down and a little later I looked outside and smoke was pouring out of the pellet box. Investigation revealed that the pellets inside the box were on fire! I went ahead and ordered a new auger motor (took me a couple of hours to install) and the grill worked great for a couple of times. Last weekend I had a bunch of friends over for ribs but, of course, as soon as everyone arrived the grill quit working and I had to finish everything in the oven. Its a good thing I had friends there because they helped me throw this grill on top of my scrap pile.

Great little grill. New to pellet grills, so practicing has been fun and flavorful. Cleanout system is great. If you want to change pellet flavors, just replace the cleanout cup with a clean bowl and run FEED. Takes a while, but works well. Very happy with the purchase.

I have now had this about a month and every weekend I have smoked something different on it. I love it, the ability to control the smoke the flavor the pellets give the food and how easy it is to clean. The best part is the ash cup very nice feature to not have to disassemble your grill just to remove the ash. The legs are a bit iffy but for being portable they will work.

Nice grill but it’s heavy for a camping grill. Uses a lot of pellets. Weird to operate. Don’t thing I’d buy another one.

I have a Woodwind WIFI 24 and I absolutely love it. We have an RV and was looking at the Pursuit. After the Gen 2 controllers came out and it was advertised that the Pursuit now came standard with it, I wanted to purchase it. After receiving the grill today and attempting to connect it to my phone, nothing happened. I then noticed subtle differences on the controllers and realized this Gen 2 controller doesn't have the features?!?!? It looks the same and was upgraded, but the WIFI and Bluetooth features were taken off? What sense does that make at all? SOOO if your looking to add the Pursuit to your collection and utilize the cooking features you're used to and love on your WIFI models than hold off getting this model.
