Q: Does this fit a pound brick of butter (eg a Kerrygold butter brick)?

A: Hello laura, We appreciate your interest in this Stylish camwood Collection Stoneware Butter Dish Green. Coming to your question the dimensions inside the dome of this item are approximately 2.6” x 6.3” x 2.5” tall. This readily accommodates 4 oz sticks of both Eastern and Western size butter sticks. As best I can tell, Kerrygold and other European butter sticks are 8 oz, and they have dimensions of 3.5” x 2.5” x 1.5”. These wider sticks will be a very tight fit in this butter dish.

Q: The description has Colletion Stoneware Butter Dish Green, where does the green come in? Does it have any green on the butterdish? Or it it stone and little darker stone on bottom? Thank you

Was really excited for this butter dish, especially for the price. Ordered it twice and it arrived with a large chip both times, in the same place. This may not be a Target issue, but since the chips were identical, it seems like they were broken before shipping.

Cute but DOES NOT fit a pound block of butter or two sticks of butter side by side with lid on. Lid is just a little over 2 inches wide. Regretfully returning and asking myself why I can’t find a butter dish for pound block of butter I buy regularly at Sam’s!!!

This butter dish was heavy and the bottom of it was not smooth to the touch. I'd never use it on my countertop as it might scratch it. If it was ever dropped it would damage whatever it landed on...tile floor, countertops, your foot.

This butter dish is adorable! Arrived in one piece, as it was properly packed before shipment. Honestly all these reviews of broken butter dishes is not Targets fault. It lies in the individuals packing the item, and every process of shipment. My butter dish was taped together, with proper fragile wrap stretched and then wrapped 5+ times. Along with the standard proper alignment positioned strategically in the box. It's not about the dish. The answer lies in the shipment process. As a Fulfillment Team Expert, I understand!

This is a very pretty, quality butter dish and arrived in one piece, to my surprise. But sadly it was a tad too narrow for our beloved salted Plugra and will be going back for a refund. The search continues!

Love this butter dish!! I was afraid to order it because of all the other reviews saying it cracked or broke from shipment. But mine, well I ordered it by accident. It was in my cart while I was ordering other stuff. When I received the butter dish, I was so nervous opening it. But actually was in excellent condition. I wished it was whiter color. But looks good. Smaller than I thought. Loved the handle. But the butter dish isn’t as wide as I thought it would be. The Kerrygold doesn’t fit unless you cut the butter in half. And the top of the butter dish could’ve been designed a little wider. To actually cover the whole plate. Other than that, I do love it.

I bought this for the minimalist aesthetic. Works great but I notice it spins…is it suppose to? There is a raised line underneath the bottom that allows this. Anyhoo does its job otherwise.

this was on our wedding registry and i was so excited when i saw that someone had ordered it for us. it came absolutely shattered on arrival. i called customer service- the rep, while very kind, did not provide a tracking number or confirmation that i would be getting another butter dish. i ended up ordering another one of these, and it too arrived broken. i spoke with ANOTHER rep, also helpful and nice, and this time i was given a tracking number. a THIRD butter dish, the one i didn't receive confirmation for, arrived triple-boxed, and very broken also. i've just gotten an email that a FOURTH butter dish replacement is on its way. will it also be broken? i think the odds are pretty good. elegant product but deeply flawed. get something better, save yourself the ten bucks.
