This GF sandwich bread is always stocked at my rural grocery store. I love that it's also corn-free, which is so hard to find in a GF loaf. It's soft, and has a perfect flavor with no aftertaste. It lasts a long time in the fridge (but of course, I always place it in the freezer after 2-3 days or so). It makes the BEST grilled cheese and croutons for soup or salad. My favorite way to use it is buttered and toasted in a pan for any sandwich. I've even used it to make gluten-free stuffing, which other GF brands on the market haven't held up to. The Ancient Grain is full of seeds so you get more diverse nutrition, which is needed in a GF diet. I've been buying it for years and will continue!

Ate two pieces of this bread yesterday. Woke up at 3:30am feeling very ill. I went to look at the ingredients and this is made with whole grain oat flour. The whole grain oat flour made me sick.

If you’re looking for another white bread option, we suggest trying our Mountain White or Heritage Honey White breads – both do not contain oat flour.

This bread is the best GF bread I can find so far. Great texture, does not fall apart, nice taste and is good in any recipe. It is great toasted with butter. I like all the grains, many GF breads are made with starch which is not as satisfying. My non GF friends have asked for it.

The Ancient Grain loaves are getting more mushed. The slices are too small to make a sandwich. The middle slice was 4 1/2 in X 4 in. It was very disappointing since I love the taste.

I have bought this bread for years because my daughter and I have gluten sensitivity. This last time she noticed that the packaging had changed. She read the label. It now contains potato starch so she can no longer eat it as she is allergic to potato.

I make a lunch for my work lunch break . I love this bread. It taste good. It does not taste gummy like some other whole grain breads. It is so good with lunch meats on it. Oh plus a slice or two of cheese. Plus it's even great with peanut butter. It really makes you feel satisfied and full so you can enjoy finishing up your work day!
