Carbone Alfredo Sauce - 15oz

Not sure why the price point is so high for a jar of alfredo sauce. I gave it a try to compare to other brands and it’s not worth the $6 difference that you can buy the store brand alfredo for.

Did not care for this at all. The sauce is thin, and the cheaper brands are actually much better, if you have to have a jarred alfredo. I LOVE the Carbone marinara, so I gave this a try...

The texture is incredibly smooth, and it has the perfect balance of creaminess and rich flavor. You can really taste the quality ingredients—unlike many alfredo sauces on the market that taste "manufactured". I used mine with pan fried potato gnocchi and added in bits of prosciutto -- absolutely delicious and as good as in a quality restaurant. If you're looking for a restaurant-quality Alfredo sauce that you can enjoy at home, Carbone is it! Highly recommend!

And when you consider the price of buying all of the ingredients to make it yourself.. It's worth the shelf price at my local Meijer store. Its scrumptious! No powdery flavor, just really nice smooth sauce. Its perfect over spaghetti. I add grilled chicken on top. Delicious!

Upon opening the jar you get a nice aroma from the sauce. I typically make an alfredo pasta dish once a week, so having a jarred sauce makes the cooking process quick and easy versus homemade. This sauce uses all-natural ingredients and is slow-cooked in small batches for a homemade taste, which I love. The sauce cooks up nicely and is rich and creamy. I have tried many alfredo sauces, but this Carbone alfredo is the best I've had yet and tastes like homemade. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a fresh, homemade-tasting alfredo sauce.
