I usually love using hair oil for my dry hair, especially as we head into the winter months. Hoping to try something new, I gave this product a chance—and I regret it. All it did was make my hair extremely greasy, and the scent wasn’t appealing either. I have naturally curly hair, and this product completely ruined it. If you’re looking for a good hair oil, I highly recommend Carol’s Daughter Born to Repair—it’s worked wonders for my hair in comparison. Everyone’s hair is different, but based on my experience, I’d suggest staying far away from this product.

As a male with mature locs I’ve used this oil a little over a year now. And, I don’t know if it works or not. I like to use a product for some time to give it time to “do its thing” before making a decision. I use the oil after washing and daily moisturizing to seal in the moisture. My hair is still dull looking at the scalp, with little shine and the dandruff appears within 2 days of washing. So I don’t know if this works or not. I find myself going back to castor oil often. I do use the goddess strength shampoo, conditioner and leave-in-conditioner but think I may consult another brand some time soon. I have to wash with head-n-shoulders first then use these products.

Loved the 7 Oil Blend and the Smooth and Shape Balm. They both kept our hair moisturized and the sweet scent was fantastic. The consistency of the cream was thick more of a butter I felt like it helped really penetrate into our hair when added with to the oil.

I only use a few drops in my scalp after washing, then I like to blow dry my hair. The scent is tolerable and not over powdering if not over used. I didn’t have any problems with spills with this bottle. My hair was so moisturized and manageable after use.
