Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us, and we're sorry to hear that your dishes had residue on them after running them through the dishwasher with our Complete ActionPacs. Although residue doesn't happen very often, when it does, it can be caused by a few reasons. First, double check the dishwasher sprayer arms are clean and can move easily and make sure the dispenser cup isn’t blocked by a large dish/utensil. Additionally, the water pressure may be too low. Try to running dishwasher when no other demands for water are running (e.g., shower, washing machine, watering the lawn, etc). If everything else is fine, check to make sure the dishwasher is getting enough water. To check for this, put a large measuring cup or mug in your dishwasher on the top rack, open end up and run the dishwasher. When the cycle is done, the cup should be completely filled with water. If not, there isn't enough water flowing into dishwasher. Lastly, to remove the residue, put the dishes through another cycle with the automatic dishwasher detergent. That being said, some materials, such as cast iron and plastic, can absorb odors if they're worn. This can cause the scent of the detergent to be more easily absorbed into the surface, and these items should be washed by hand. We're sorry to hear your dishes weren't left spotless like we expect from the many quality checks we have in place. Unfortunately, hard water can be a nuisance. It can fight against the detergent to allow minerals and food particles to settle back on dishes, which results in a film. To get the best results, be sure your water is at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit/49 degrees Celsius. Also, when loading the machine, be sure all items will get the full spray and that your spray arms aren’t blocked.
