The scratcher part fell out of the outside container with the handle right away and ended up having to tape it together. Still only lasted a week because the handle ended up falling off because it can't take any sort of weight. The old design from a few years back was 10000x better and is still in use in our house.

The cardboard handle that is supposed to hang on the door isn't super study. It did rip off within the first few uses. BUT my cat did prefer to scratch at more once it was flat on the ground. Overall a decent product to keep kitty claws off furniture.

There is NOTHING keeping the cardboard insert for scratching inside the frame. It doesn't stay inside when you hang it up. I had to tape it. I immediately requested a refund

We just lay these on the floor next to the couches he liked to scratch and now he just stands on it and scratches away. Not how it was designed but definitely works.

The cutout for hanging barely holds the weight of the scratcher, the cardboard insert (scratching part) falls out when hung, and the scratcher does not hang flat against a wall or door

I had to spray it with cat nip a few times so my cats understood it was for them, but now that they’ve realized it’s theirs they use it like crazy! And we haven’t had as many issues with them scratching furniture!! I do recommend using command strips instead of the adhesives that come with it, but maybe that’s because my cats are a little rougher. It helps keep the scratcher in and won’t be too difficult to remove and flip it once they’ve finished with the current side.
