Made my hands so much drier than they even were before. They’re literally peeling and cracking now, and they weren’t doing that before. It’s super runny for a “cream” and leaves your hands feeling greasy before it dries up soon after application. I’m actually really confused how this product did everything opposite of what a hand cream should do.

The Cerave therapeutic handcream has been a lifesaver in the winter time. I have very dry skin so on days where my hands need a little extra hydration, I always turn into this. It’s formulated with dimethicone, 3 essential ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide. I’ve been using this for years and it really does help to deeply moisturize and restore the skin barrier. I think that the texture of the cream is a bit thick, which differs from other reviews that it’s lightweight and has a non-greasy finish. While I don’t think it feels greasy on the skin, it does take a couple minutes for the product of fully absorb. Still, I really enjoy using this handcream and I think it’s a great product for dry skin.

I have an issue where my hands tend to peel really bad, usually when the seasons change but it’s the worst in the winter. I have tried so many lotions and other remedies to try to fix it and this is the only thing that has worked for me! I used to hate hand lotions because they would take awhile for my hands to stop feeling greasy or slick, but this absorbs very very quickly and does not leave my hands feeling like I can’t touch anything.

Love their other products but, not a fan of this one. I am keeping it but it feels weird when you put it on. It doesn’t feel like it has moisturized my skin but, makes my hands feel like they have turned into plastic. I won’t be buying it again. I’ll stick with the Aveeno Skin Relief Hand Cream in the tube. It’s fantastic and works great but is hard to find.

For reference, I have dry skin and tend to get hangnails and have dry cuticles. I really want to like this hand cream because I love CeraVe products, but this one is just okay. The consistency is a little more runny and watery, but it applies smoothly and dries down quickly. It doesn’t leave my skin oily, sticky, or greasy. It makes my skin feel smooth and matte. On the negative side, I often feel like I need to re-apply soon after the first application because it doesn’t feel moisturizing enough. And my cuticles still feel dry. It also has a somewhat strong chemical scent when applying. Once dried on my skin, it’s not too bad. For the price, I don’t think I’ll re-purchase this hand cream.

This hand cream saved my hands!! In the winter I get very dry, flaky, and red knuckles. I started using this hand cream and all the dryness and redness went away almost immediately! I didn’t even apply every day. The consistency is on the thinner side but very soft. I highly recommend.

Worked very fast in healing my dry hands, I had very dry healing scabs on back of hand that went away in a day. My fingertips especially my thumbs can get very dry n crack open and they have kept them so hydrated my hands look so good as I’ve never had them with other lotions. Yes it is a thin consistency but works great!!

I’m not too crazy about this handcream because it takes a long time to absorb in your skin and it feels a little greasy. It’s also not as thick as I’d like the hand lotion to be.  It’s unscented, which I like for handcream when my hands are really dry.

This stuff literally saved my hands. I have eczema and struggle when the weather gets cold. All the other lotions I was using couldn't keep up, but this one did the trick! My hands are soft and healed. It is a little expensive, so I don't know if it will be a regular purchase, but it is definitely something I will use when I experience a flare-up.

Not the best for extremely dry and cracked skin and eczema prone skin. Product dries quickly-before you can even rub it. Good for if you have normal skin and if you like a non-greasy hand cream.

I typically use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream but thought this might be better. WRONG. Maybe I got a weird tube/batch but I couldn't believe how runny this was. It's thinner than lotion, does soak in quickly but wears off just as quickly with no noticable improvement in skin texture. Will not buy again.

not the best but i'll use it. i prefer the cerave tub moisturizer for face to go on my hands opposed to this. pretty liquidy which i dont like. also smells exactly like fenty heat lip gloss which is so odd lol

It doesn't feel like a cream. It leaves some residue on hands to protect them but it has very runny consistency like a cheap lotion. I feel like you need a lot of the cream to cover your hands vs. if you used any other brand (Eucerin, Aquaphor). Also, it contains parabens and speciffically propylparaben, an endocrine disruptor.

This is my favorite hand cream. I live in the dry state of Arizona so I’m always in need of very moisturizing hand cream. This one works and keeps my hands from be by a shriveled mess. It absorbs right into the skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It doesn’t have any scent either which is great. I keep it at my desk at work so it’s also there when I need it.
