Q: Can I use this on my eyes?

A: Hello Sara! While CeraVe Ultra-Light Face Lotion with SPF 30 is formulated for the face, applying it directly to the eye area is generally not recommended. Sunscreens, even facial ones, can sometimes cause irritation if they get into the eyes. The skin around the eyes is very delicate. It's best to use a product specifically designed for that area, or a sunscreen labeled as "safe for use around the eyes." If you need sun protection for your eye area, you might consider wearing sunglasses, or applying a small amount of the CeraVe lotion around your orbital bone, being very careful to avoid direct contact with the eyes themselves. If you experience any irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

I had used the AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 for years, but I sometimes when I apply makeup or other products over it, it pills up. I tried this product and I really like it -- it's lightweight, goes on smoothly, and makes my skin soft but not greasy. And I can apply other products over it with no pilling.

This product is exactly what it says it is. Its a sunscreen with enough SPF to protect you from sun damage. It definitely smells like sunscreen so if you don't like the smell of sunscreen, I would avoid this one. It is pretty lightweight and hasn't broken me out (although I am not the most acne prone to begin with). It does leave a slight greasy film, but honestly it just feels like the consistency of like a night cream. It plays well with all of my cream makeup and even helps blend it out for a more flawless finish. It leaves my skin looking naturally dewy which I love. I have pretty dry skin that is not prone to breakouts and I am not particularly sensitive to smells so honestly this was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend it to people who have dry skin, need sunscreen, and don't mind the smell.

This is my favorite combo for moisturizer and sunscreen in one. It works well and does not leave a white cast. I have combination skin and it is just a perfect blend of moisturizing that my skin needs. It also has hyaluronic acid and ceramides which help to protect the skin barrier.

Great product, terrible packaging! I have barely had this a month and i can’t get any more moisturizer out. I had to cut the other end and there is still quite a bit left. Not worth it all.

I've been using this "product" for years in the old packaging (which wasn't great since the cap always broke). Was thrilled to see the new packaging. However, seems you've changed the product. Came with so much moisturizer in it I would definitely recommend buying i had mine for like a month or 2 and it's still not empty I would recommend only using twice or once a day there is no scent so that's good so it don't make your face smell weird the packaging came good in good condition and the texture is not slimy its just like a regular lotion but better.

I bought this by accident thinking the packaging had changed for the original am moisturizer with sunscreen, which I’ve used for many years and love. After only one application of this lighter version, I have a puffy red itchy rash all over my face and neck. It is VERY uncomfortable. Not a product I’ll ever be able to use. I’ll stick to the original version, unless you change it too.

Left my face feeling flushed and a burning sensation. Not great for my sensitive, oily-prone skin!
