A: Hello Sara! While CeraVe Ultra-Light Face Lotion with SPF 30 is formulated for the face, applying it directly to the eye area is generally not recommended. Sunscreens, even facial ones, can sometimes cause irritation if they get into the eyes. The skin around the eyes is very delicate. It's best to use a product specifically designed for that area, or a sunscreen labeled as "safe for use around the eyes." If you need sun protection for your eye area, you might consider wearing sunglasses, or applying a small amount of the CeraVe lotion around your orbital bone, being very careful to avoid direct contact with the eyes themselves. If you experience any irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

I've been using this "product" for years in the old packaging (which wasn't great since the cap always broke). Was thrilled to see the new packaging. However, seems you've changed the product. It's heavier and causing small breakouts!!! I'm 65 and don't get small breakouts. Why did you change my favorite daily moisturizer with sunscreen??!!

Came with so much moisturizer in it I would definitely recommend buying i had mine for like a month or 2 and it's still not empty I would recommend only using twice or once a day there is no scent so that's good so it don't make your face smell weird the packaging came good in good condition and the texture is not slimy its just like a regular lotion but better.

I bought this by accident thinking the packaging had changed for the original am moisturizer with sunscreen, which I’ve used for many years and love. After only one application of this lighter version, I have a puffy red itchy rash all over my face and neck. It is VERY uncomfortable. Not a product I’ll ever be able to use. I’ll stick to the original version, unless you change it too.

I've used this product for over a year with success. However, this last bottle I bought is so oily! My face feels like i slathered olive oil on it. Will return it. Very dissapointing as I've always trusted this product and brand.

Product says matte finish…but it’s definitely not. It makes my pores look HUGE and my face looks so oily after applying. Don’t waste your money. (I have combination-oily, acne-prone skin)

I used to love this sunscreen. Swore by it. But with new packaging comes a new formula. Now I hate it. It’s thicker than the previous formula. It takes a while to rub in, in order to get rid of the white cast. It also leaves my face dry. That’s what I hate the most. The last one never left me with a dry face. Bring back the old formula!!!

Product is amazing- it’s sad they make a SPF 30 so much better than the Cerave AM spf 30 but then cut the size to 1.7oz, take away niacinamide, but charge you the same $$$. The American way! This should have replaced the Cerave AM SPF 30 and the New SPF 50. They both feel to thick on the face all day long. I could even live with the chemical smell but the feel it awful. The above product is the best you sell in SPF

I seem to be the only one that likes the new packaging. It’s smaller, making it easier to pack in my bag, and the amount of product you get is the same. I didn’t realize it was reformulated because I just used up a tube and still loved it. It’s no fuss - dries down quickly and doesn’t make my eyes burn. I use this just as a sunscreen, so I typically apply a lightweight moisturizer first.

It’s a decent daily moisturizer that works for my sensitive skin and I like that it has sunscreen in it without making it sticky. But PLEASE bring back the old packaging with the longer/skinnier tube. I loved that tube, it looked a lot nicer, the pump worked better, and it was so much easier to pack for traveling. The new tube looks cheap and looks like a basic sunscreen, not a skincare product. The pump doesn’t function as well either, and it’s not as predictable with how much product is going to come out. It’s so disappointing.

i got a sample of this ultra light moisturizing lotion and had to purchase the full size bottle afterwards. if you have oily or combo skin this is a great product. very little scent. doesn’t leave your skin greasy, which is huge for me with my combo skin
