Q: Does this leave a white cast on dark skin when applying 1/4 tsp to face as recommended for sun protection against the Skin Cancer foundation?

A: Even though this is a chemical sunscreen, there is silica in it. Skincare with silica in it can sometimes leave a white cast on dark skin.

The texture of the product is consistent throughout the same bottle so you can ensure the same results every time. There’s not really a scent to the SPF but when you put it on there’s a lotion scent. The ingredients contains Antioxidants and VitaminB5

I have highly Reactive skin to Moisturizer and Sunscreens, this didn't make get a reaction and feels nice but it's super shiny and greasy feel. I think I'm just cursed and can't use sunscreen I guess.

Huge miss by Cetaphil. Typically I trust their products, but stating this is a lightweight moisturizer is laughable. It sits on your face all day. I could feel the lotion texture on my skin hours after application. And it is also pretty darn shiny. It honestly felt as thick as the Gold Bond hand cream I use. After trying this for 3 days, I returned it. There are so many better options at the store.

I have very sensitive dry skin and this is one of the only things that works for me and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin. I have been using it for years. The packaging changed recently and that was confusing but it still feels the same. Good. I will say I saw a couple reviews that said it tastes bad or stings if you get it in your eyes, I will say that’s true but it of course isn’t supposed to go in your eyes or mouth I do put it near my mouth and eyes and it’s fine for me. I will also say every skin type is different so it may not work for everyone but for me this is a must. My skin can feel so dry after showering it can hurt so I really like to have this product around because it’s basically the only thing that fixes that without feeling heavy or greasy. So much so I am planning to get some for my emergency kits so I can have it even after an earthquake or whatever. I think the 35 SPF is just a happy bonus (that my dermatologist recommended strongly even in cloudy weather). Anyway it’s not good tasting lol or good if it gets in your eyes and may not be ideal for everyone but for my dry sensitive skin it’s great.

The cleanser and moisture is the best discovery I’ve ever made. I have always struggled with ache around my hairline and product was introduced to me by a friend. I have not had any breakouts since I started using the cleanser after which I moisturized. My daughter will be 12 in a couple days and this is the only cleanser she used. Needless to say her pre-teenage acne is under control. This is money worth investing. You will not regret. Cetaphil will always be my go to.

I ordered this thinking that because it is made by Cetaphil, I would instantly like it. I have used the Moisturizing Lotion (body) for years. Then I read the negative reviews which addressed my exact concerns such as "burning eyes", causing "breakouts". I liked that it was lightweight and had a matte finish (I was exclusively looking for this benefit). I greatly dislike the sunscreen chemical ingredients. Why not make at least a hybrid of mineral? I'm really surprised on this with Cetaphil. You should know better.

I absolutely love this sunscreen. It’s moisturizing and non irritating. The only problem I have is the the pump! Once you get 3/4 of the way done with the bottle, the pump stops dispensing the lotion. Either I have to waste a bunch of product by throwing it away, or I have to open it and tap out the rest of the product on my hand, but then way too much comes out! This is so frustrating because this sunscreen is perfect for me in every other way. Please fix this, Cetaphil, and I’ll be a customer for life!

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. But I lose like 1/3 of the product EACH time I buy it because the pump doesn't get all the sunscreen at the bottom. If Cetaphil were to offer a new dispenser for this sunscreen, like a tube, I would use it for the rest of my life. But as someone who is conscious of every last penny in this economy, I can't afford to consciously have to throw product away when I use the pump. I'll probably have to switch sunscreens and sunscreen companies sadly.
