I usually love their products. I was looking for a milky cleanser per dermatologist’s suggestion, but this is not it. It also does not remove my Nars mascara, and it is not even waterproof. This product needs significant improvement.

I’ve used products that are more effective at removing eye makeup, but that’s not what’s bad about this product. What’s bad is it practically blinds you with a white oily film /residue in your eyes. And it doesn’t go away easily! The only thing to do is rinse your eyes out with water. I suppose you could wait to see if it clears, but why on earth would they formulate it this way? I usually really like CeraVe products but I do not like this at ALL.

I’ve looked a long time to find a mascara remover that doesn’t end up making me look like a raccoon or causes me to lose eyelashes. This product fits the bill. No tugging or heavy wiping. Just gentle removal. A little goes a long way and my eyes feel soothed when my makeup is removed. There is no scent.

This is a terrible mascara remover. Do not use. Not worth the money- it doesn’t work well at all, it leaves a residue, and causes minor irritation.

It didn’t burn which is a plus but it left a white residue in my eye and I had to drown it with eyedrops to clear my eyesight. Cetaphil works better.

Works well, though needs a little effort for waterproof mascara (but I don't want to lose eyelashes, so I let the pad sit on them for a bit first) but it isn't greasy and works well with all the Cerave products I use on my face.

First of all, this bottle pours out FAST. There is no squeezing option so you just tip it until it dumps. Second of all, it leaves white blurry vision in my eyes. First time I tried it, and it lasted 10-15 minutes. The second time, I used much less and I closed my eyes super tight, and yet I still had white blurry eyes. Barely took off any makeup. I’m not the only person!

We recommend saturating a cotton pad with the remover and holding it against your lashes for several seconds to allow it to break down the mascara before gently wiping. We hope this tip helps!

Bought this as an alternative when my makeup wipes were not doing the job anymore. It works to take off waterproof mascara, and eyeliner. I like that it didn’t sting my eyes and there’s barely any scent to it. Safe and dermatologist tested. Pro tip: you can dip a Q-tip in this and get the perfect winged eyeliner look.

Knowing CeraVe's excellent reputation and having used their products for years, I felt confident buying the "Comforting Eye Makeup Remover". I followed the instructions on removing eye makeup, but was disappointed overall. I had to throw it away.

CeraVe Comforting Eye Makeup Remover removes even waterproof mascara easily while using minimal product. It is very gentle on the skin and does not burn my eyes, or irritate my skin like some other eye makeup removers that I have tried. My skin also feels clean with no greasy feel afterwards. I do wish the bottle came in a larger size, but overall I love this eye makeup remover.

A little getting in your eyes is to be expected, but it's uncomfortable if it does. I started using less on my cotton pads but then it takes two to remove my eye makeup. I might find a different product next time but won't throw this away now that on my eyelids to remove the mascara. I like the fragrance-free and moisturizing effect Opinions are mixed on eye makeup removal, effectiveness, oiliness, and stinging ability.

I use many of the CeraVe products as recommended by my dermatologist, and while this does remove eye makeup effectively, I get scared that it clouds my eyes, even tho they are closed when applying. Will not continue using.
