The new formula has less SPF and tastes absolutely awful! I’ve been using this specific chapstick for decades and just threw away my latest pack. I can’t stand the disgusting bitter taste and now have to look for an alternative.

As a lifelong Chapstick brand user and a slight addiction to using chapstick, thus “new formula” is AWFUL, you can taste the new, bitter sunscreen ingredients for hours on your lips and tongue. I threw away the entire pack and will hunt down the regular formula moisturizer without the octocrylene or homosalate ingredients. Photos attacthed of the packaging for the normal formula with 3 main ingredients, and the new formula with 5 ingredients. Amazon has the original formula so alas I’ll throw Bezos more money so I get something I can actually ~use~.

Loved the old formula, SPF 15. This one has a strong taste to it, cannot keep it on my lips for more than a few seconds. It also feels different on lips, almost seems to dry the out a bit. I hope they revert back.

Really gross. Made me feel sick after about 10 minutes of having it on. Tastes like sunscreen. Very powerful taste and made me nauseous. Felt like I was going to throw up. Had to wipe it off and will be returning it. I had to check online to make sure I didn’t accidentally buy a little mini tube of sunscreen.

Used to be my favorite chapstick but now it feels like I just have sunscreen on my lips and then after a minute of it being on, I taste the sunscreen. Bring back the spf 15! This one is horrendous

I've been using this ChapStick for years and years. It used to say Spf15 and had almost no taste. This new formula (which says Spf12 now) tastes horrible, you just can't avoid the flavor. I can't use it at all. Now I have to search for another product to use! Why did they change a perfectly good product?!?!
