A: Goes on bottom lowest rack for safest use. As Package Instructions say!!
submitted bySheriboopatt - 6 years agoA: The liner goes on the floor of the oven. If it is a gas oven, be sure to leave the openings uncovered. You can cut the liner if necessary to expose the holes.

submitted byFran - 4 years agoA: Do not put this on the bottom of the oven. It is to be placed on the lowest rack. The newer model ovens have the heating element built into the bottom of the oven and if you put the oven liner on the bottom of the oven it will burn and also interfere with the regulating of the temperature.

A: The first answer is the most complete and correct for the newer models with electric elements. My oven is older and has an exposed element. I have used one safely for 20 years. I also work with appliance manufacturers and your warranty will be negated if you do put anything on the floor of a model with a hidden element.

I didn’t realize that you have to place the liner on the bottom rack, instead of the oven floor. Nevertheless, placing liners in the oven catches whatever burnt bits that might fall off. It’s easy to clean, too, the charred bits easily glide off the liner. Quite practical to have!

It would be better if you could put it on the bottom of the oven, directions say you can't. It has warnings for pet bird owners. Why can't they make one of these oven liners that can be placed on oven bottom and that is not toxic to humans or pets?

This oven liner is literally one of my favorite products. Who wants to send hours cleaning their oven or smelling disgusting oven cleaners? I love that you can just pop this into your oven (even cut it down to size if need be), and then shake off any drips. We've moved multiple times over the years and this has saved us many ours of cleaning time and/or cleaning fees from places we've rented.

It is so easy to use, just put in the bottom of the oven after you clean it, and it can be wiped clean and washed many times before having to clean the oven again. Great Product.

Love this liner! Make sure you read the instructions and place it on the lowest rack. It can be cut to fit any size of oven. It is so easy to clean and saves me the tedious task of having to clean my oven. Definitely worth it!

This was a nice alternative to the aluminum foil we usually put in the bottom of the oven. It did not seem to affect the way the crust on our pizzas cook, and that's a good thing. The author of this review received a free sample of the product.
