Chicco Advanced Sterilizer and Bottle Dryer

Very easy, convenient, ease of adding bigger and smaller pieces

I loved it before it failed me. I’m not sure when or why it broke but it did, no matter how many times I plug or unplugged it, switch it on and off, or tapped the “on” button, it does not work. Prior to it breaking it cleaned and dried everything beautifully. The functions were easy to navigate and it cleaned a reasonable amount of time. I wish they made it durable because the size was perfect.

Firstly product doesn’t even turn ON and you have to do multiple plug in and out to make it work. Once it works, the dryer is not even functioning and there is lot of condensation on bottles.

I have had this for a couple weeks now, and there are some things I like and others could use improvement. The sanitizer is convenient and seems to work well. However, I don’t find the dryer to work as well. Some parts are completely dry, but the bottles (especially in the bottom compartment) remain wet inside. Maybe it’s condensation? So now either way, I have to dry them with a paper towel. I paid extra specifically for the dryer function, so I am disappointed.

Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for this product. I can’t say enough about how much I love the dryer and sterilizer. I think these two combined replenish time lost from doing both individually. It was easy for me to set up and use. I don’t have much time as a busy mom and this aids in freeing up space in my day. It’s very convenient for me because whether it’s the pacifier, bottles or even my pump attachments I’m able to sterilize anything. I think the fact that it’s isn’t tiny is a lifesaver. I can put so many things in at once and walk away. I will likely use this machine until it no longer functions. It’s that invaluable to me.

This product is pretty great, just in and press the buttons and let it do it’s thing! All in one machine you can sterilize and dry your items. One thing I wish that came with it was a cup with the measurements of water you need. Other then that it’s pretty straight forward just a bit bulky but fits a great amount! This Chicco advanced sterilizer and dryer is so wonderful. I’m on my third child and never dreamed such a wonderful invention would exist. It holds so many pacifiers, breast pump parts and bottles all at one time that it’s insane. I’ve even sterilized the baby toys. I’m a very busy mom of three girls, two are in sports and homeschooled by me. The other one is my one month old. It’s so crucial that I can easily and efficiently sterilize all the baby things! I’m amazed by how it also dries them off for me. I was given this product to test as part of the stellar product testing panel in exchange for my honest review. I quickly got it out of the box and started using it right away as soon as it arrived. I’m not impressed with the cycles being so long but I understand why they are and that it makes it healthy for my baby. I use it less for that reason than I would if it only took five or ten minutes. Regardless this product has earned a permanent spot in my kitchen counter line up. And I’ll continue using it frequently as it is so easy to load and leave it!

This Chicco Advanced Sterilizer and Dryer that I was fortunate enough to receive through Stellar Product Testing Panel is a game change for me. I had this set up in minutes and ready to use. I no longer have to stand by the stove boiling water to sterilize bottles, nipples, pacifiers and toys. This is big enough to do 8oz bottles but also accommodates the 4oz. I have the option of doing lots at once with the full setup or for small batches I can use the bottom portion only. So far I've only used one of the settings which is the sterilize and dry. There are options of sterilize only, dry only and delayed start. I'm not sure I'll ever use any of the other options. The unit is rather quiet running and is done within 40 minutes. Everything is truly dry when it's done so I don't have to do anything but put them away. One thing I'm really happy with is the descaling alert. I don't have to worry about any buildup making it not effective as I know when I need to clean it. I feel good knowing that everything is sterile and I can rest assured the items I use with my daughter are safe for her.

Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this Sterilizer. This device is great for sterilizing bottles and pump parts. It is large enough to fit the whole days worth of bottles so I can sterilize everything at once at night, then prep it for the next day since it’s all dry so quickly! The design is sleek and modern. It is a little confusing to set up the first time, but once you figure it out that first time it’s super easy after that! The major downside is that because it is so large, it’s difficult to store. I have to keep it on my counter which I don’t really like. Otherwise it’s a great product and so helpful for keeping my baby healthy!

Firstly I want to say I received this product from Stellar Product Tester Panel in exchange for my honest review. Really that’s it my review is my own good or bad. I probably honestly wouldn’t have bought this product out on my own I’m the first of my family to have a baby in well this decade lol and let’s be honest tech and gadgets have gotten much more advanced! However I am so grateful to have received it it’s definitely a need that you don’t realize when having you first baby (or third). Every baby needs bottles no matter if formula feed or breast milk. Which means cleaning and sanitizing! Before this machine I had been boiling water which was honest always such a process. We live out in the county so we’ll water doesn’t cut it I’d have to by gallons to keep and the boil the water and throw in all the parts and have to do batches because I was to nervous to throw in a big batch and have parts hit the bottom of the pot. Then dry them all. It just always took such a long time, and time is valuable. This gadget has saved me my sanity! Seriously so easy it comes apart to do small or large loads. The bottle size doesn’t matter because of how big it is! You can have the bottles and nipples on at once because there is a top rack for smaller pieces. Then you click the button and bam there it goes and even dries them!! Like what?? I don’t have to dry it and try to shovel my hand in the bottom of the bottle to get those annoying last drops of water? This saves so much time and hassle. Plus it’s usable past the point of bottles. Can put in sippy cups and tether toys. It will get a ton of use from us and will definitely recommend to my friends expecting! Every momma needs short cuts!

I'm a FTM and could not regularly find the time to bring a large pot of water to boil after handwashing (or dishwashing!) a handful of bottles, and then leaving them out to dry on a rack for hours before I could put them away. Glad that I finally got ahold of this sterilizer and dryer combo because I feel like this Chicco model makes things so quick and easy and gives me peace of mind since I'm able to fully and properly clean all of my baby's bottles and accessories now. The dryer is the selling point on this machine for me, it removes 99% of the liquid from the bottles and accessories and even gets moisture out of the tiny vents in bottle nipples. I like being able to put away bottles in preparation for our next feed as soon as the dry cycle finishes. If you don't need to dry then the sterilization cycle itself is still quicker than boiling a pot of water (at least for me!) and takes about 10 minutes total. They advertise a 5 minute cycle but that doesn't include time for the machine to heat up which is close to 5 minutes. The machine is nearly silent during sterilization but does have a humming noise during the dry cycle. This really hasn't bothered me but I do appreciate that there is an option to delay the start if you don't want to be bothered by the noise. Overall I'm super happy with the unit, the settings are easy to use, I love the countdown display, it looks pretty nice (which is great, because it will sit on my counter for the next year!), and it makes a full and proper cleaning feel like easier than before. This sterilizer and dryer is great for 3 reasons. The first- it sterilizes and dries meaning I don’t have to dry off the bottles and parts after they are clean. The second- it can be 2 different sizes- so if I just have to sterilize pacifiers and not the bottles too- I can do a quick cycle and have less pieces involved. The last thing I like about this sterilizer/dryer combo is the size of the bottle chamber- I just have a 2 month old right now but as she grows to larger bottle sizes, the Advanced Sterilizer and Dryer will be able to accommodate that size as well as sippy cups and toys. My one suggestion for improvement is that the actual product parts (the chamber, divider and top) are still wet after the drying cycle is complete so even though the bottles and pacifiers were dry I had to towel of the actual sterilizer to get it dry. I never would have thought I needed a sterilizer; I always just used a pot and a straining spoon, but thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for introducing me to this product! The Chicco Sterilizer and Dryer was so easy to set up and use! The instructions were clear and all of the parts fit together nicely and logically. The clear measurements in the bottom basin make filling up the water a breeze with no extra supplies necessary. The interface gave simple options that were easy to decipher and made the process smooth. With two size options, this appliance could sterilize all of my bottle parts and pacifiers at the same time which saves so much time. However, because the appliance can hold so much it is quite large and takes up a lot of space in the kitchen. The drying element worked really well and was convenient as it saved so much time and effort- everything could be immediately put away. The whole process felt quick as everything happens with a click of two buttons which is really nice as a working parent with a newborn! While the appliance works well and is very convenient I would probably only end up using it once or twice or in rare scenarios as it’s not crucial to me to constantly sterilize my child’s products. However, if sterilizing your baby products is something important to you I definitely recommend the easy to use Chicco Sterilizer and Dryer!

I was super excited to receive this product for testing (thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel!). It was very easy to set up. The front side has a flat edge while the back has a curved edge, which made it clear how to stack each piece together. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. The buttons on the front are clear, and seemed quite modern (touch enabled, no physical buttons). With a newborn it's so important to be able to sterilize everything - bottles, pacifiers, toys. Even with an older baby I love the convenience of sterilizing everything before the first use using this device. The capacity of this sterilizer/dryer is substantial. We only use a few bottles at a time and a couple teethers, so this product can easily get it all done in one go. The option to run different size loads is really convenient, and I like that there are different sections for things of various sizes. It's also super sleek looking on my counter. It's not small but it looks really modern. I thought the device efficiently sterilized and dried everything I put in it. Just being able to sterilize a several items at once is great, but the fact that it can dry them too was the cherry on top!

I was given this sterilizer to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The short story is, this unit sterilizes and dries bottles and accessories extremely well. The various items I put in seemed nearly brand new after the cleaning cycle. All the films resulting from contact with milk fats and such even after washing just vanished. For that, I could give it 5 stars easily. Where it falls short is in the setup manual and configuration display. The manual simply isn’t clear and for something that really is so simple to use, it took me longer than it should have to get it going the first time for the sole reason that the instructions looked like something to accompany a toy from the 1980s. Once assembled, I had to look at the box imagery for suggestions on how to load it up. Interestingly, they clearly tried to “modernize” the control of the device with a clean looking display of various icons that light up under a glossy finish. However, because it’s all icons with no text you really have to refer to the manual to figure out how to get the machine going. There’s also not a clear indication that you have successfully started the cycle. Not at least without referring to the manual for clarification. There is an icon that changes color but it’s not initially clear what that means perhaps because there isn’t any accompanying sound. For really what is such a simple device- it steams and it dries, I don’t think a reference of a booklet should be required. It should be self explanatory. In any case, this is a retooling of a straight forward device but it does its job properly, excellently in fact, but it requires reference to get it up and running.

This product has been a game changer. It was so easy to set up and start using. Since going back to work, it has been a hassle to wash and dry bottles and pump parts every night. This sterilizer is roomy and fits all of my pump parts plus pacifiers. I no longer have to set bottles and pump parts on towels overnight or hand dry parts. I set them in the sterilizer and my whole process is faster and less time consuming. My favorite feature is the size of the sterilizer and the dryer feature. Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel!

I used to have to sanitize my bottles two to three times a day as I could only do one at a time. Now at the end of the day I can put all six bottles, plus nipples and pacifiers, and set and forget. The next morning they’re all ready to go! Highly impressed, has really stream lined my sanatizing process. I can even use it for my pump parts! I am a big fan of this sterilizer. It was so simple to put together and use. You just put the stackable pieces together and it’s ready to go! Before receiving this from Stellar Product Testing Panel I was doing things the old fashioned way of boiling water and setting a timer every time I need to sterilize anything. I love that it fits many bottles, pump parts and pacifiers at the same time or I can break it down to the smaller size and just do a couple pacifiers. The best part is there is no waiting for things to dry over night, this does that fire you! Also I really like the size of this. I have a little apartment kitchen and I am lacking on counter space. I have a little three tier cart that I put all my baby feeding supplies in and this fits perfectly right on top!

Originally I thought a sterilizer was something I didn’t need… but I was wrong! This sterilizer gave me so much peace of mind and is 100% worth it! It was easy to set up and I actually liked the size of it because I could fit all my pacifiers, baby toys and bottle parts in it! It can also function as a more compact unit but I liked the full size so I could sterilize everything at once. I loved the touch screen and simple instructions. All you need to do is press the sterilize and dry button, walk away and wait. I like that I don’t have to worry about boiling water or melting things in the pan on the stove and can fit way more in the sterilizer and do everything at once. The sterilize and dry function takes approximately 30 minutes but everything came out clean, warm and dry!! I love that I can put everything away right away and pop a warm clean pacifier in my sons mouth! Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product. Would definitely recommend to any busy family.

I always sanitized pacifiers and my breast pump in a pot of boiling water over the stove. A bottle sanitizer seemed like an unnecessary, expensive item like a wipe warmer. I am happy to say I was wrong and I absolutely love the Chicco sterilizer and dryer! I use it every day to sanitize my breast pump, pacifiers, and the occasional bottle. I mostly breastfeed, so even if you are a fellow breastfeeding instead of bottle feeding mama, I highly recommend this for pump parts as you build up a freezer stash and for pacifiers! I love that it has two different sizes- the full size and the compact. I have been using the full size mode exclusively since my breast pump manual recommends sanitizing the parts daily, but I plan on using the compact mode for pacifiers on days when I am not pumping. I also love that it sanitizes and dries all in one and the items stay in the machine sanitized for up to 24 hours. At first I was put off by the time (around 30 minutes), but I realized it's a set up and leave it situation which is SO much easier than actively stirring pump parts and pacifiers over a stove for 5-10 minutes. The only downside I see to this is if you need something sanitized very quickly. In that case, you may need to plan ahead if you don't have half an hour for it to run. I also love that the levels are vertical so it doesn't take up a ton of counter space and it is very minimalistic and stylish. It doesn't look junky or distracting on your kitchen counter. The buttons appear on a touchscreen after you turn the machine on, so that contributes to the minimalist look. There are no words, so you do need to familiarize yourself with the user manual to figure out what the icons mean. Overall, 5 stars- I highly recommend it!
