A: The mattress pad for the Close to You SE Bedside Bassinet has a carefully regulated padding thickness and the tight fit of the EVA cover allow plentiful airflow around the baby. It also features mesh side panels for visibility and ventilation.

Q: I have a low lying bed frame and there’s only a 4 inch space from the floor to the bottom of the frame. Will this work for me to pull the bassinet flush to my bed side?

A: Probably not. The four legs on the Chicco Close To You SE Bedside Bassinet are tapered in elevation, beginning under 4" at the perimeter but rising to just over 4.5" near the center of the base.

This is a must have! My bed is taller than most and I was having a hard time finding a bassinet that would come over my bed so I could be as close as possible to him without co-sleeping. This was perfect! He is now 6months so it is time to move to his crib and I am so sad about it. I wish this came deeper so he could stay in it longer but that’s my only complaint. It rolls around my house perfectly… not bulky at all. 5stars guys!

I used this for my first born. There really isn’t anything special about this model other than its adjustable height. It’s easy to assemble. Wish I would’ve bought one with more functionality (I.e. adjustable sides) like the close to you 3-in-1.

we loved this bassinet. the adjustable height works for our bed and rolling stand helps me get out of bed easier on my side. i had another standing bassinet that was too low, I couldn’t pick up baby in the night to nurse and it was painful to pick him up out of it postpartum so we ordered this at target kinda out of desperation. the legs do stick out a little far. but does not bother me. i’m sure there are better bassinets out there (i wish we got one that had a side that pulled down for easier access) but over all we enjoyed the bassinet! we are 3 months old now and will be moving to the crib soon where he has more room!

The only nice thing about this bassinet is the height. It worked well for our baby for the first few months when he didn’t move much but now that he’s 4 months old this thing has become a safety issue. It’s held together by zippers that continuously come undone because my little one pushes against the sides of the bassinet throughout the night. I am worried it’s going to come apart on us. The legs are also so awkward I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve stubbed my toes on them. The price of this bassinet does not match the quality unfortunately.

Easy to assemble. Love that it rolls (has safety locks on wheels of course). Mesh siding is a nice breathable fabric. My little one slept in it well until she was 5 months old.

My husband and I are expecting our first so we haven’t gotten to use this yet but it’s set up and ready to roll! I love that we can easily move the bassinet closer or farther away from the bed. That was the main reason I purchased this. The bedding is also nice and soft and its a great neutral color! Will update with another review once our little one arrives!

I’m on to my fourth baby and always resorted to the pack and play next to bed, but this is a game changer! Straight out of the box I’m a little intimidated by the pieces and how many there are. However, The instructions are clear, and the assembly couldn’t be easier! Everything fits perfectly without too much man handling and yet it still so secure and sturdy. I love the zippers instead of Velcro but they can be a little tricky to pull and get lined up to zip shut. The hidden zippers makes for a very put together look and make you feel like the baby will be secure and won’t be rolling out to the floor. Everything looks like it’s super easy to wash and I love how secure everything is! The bassinet adjusts up and down with ease but still maintains a very sturdy feel. The locking wheels are perfect and they roll with ease on our hard wood floors yet lock in place to be stationary. I imagine having carpet would make it more difficult to maneuver. Overall I am so thrilled with this item and a little embarrassed I didn’t have a bassinet for the other kiddos!
