Feedback on the Safety Performance of the Chicco Stroller

2 out of 5 stars
Thumbs down graphic, would not recommend
Very good - 22 days ago, Verified purchaser
To the Chicco Team, I’ve been using one of your strollers for the past two months, and unfortunately, I’m quite disappointed with the experience. While the stroller does offer a spacious seat and appears sturdy, it falls short in key areas—especially those related to safety, which is non-negotiable for any baby product. • The brake system is unreliable, and it often fails to lock the stroller securely. This creates constant worry when taking my baby out. • The safety harness is poorly designed—not easy to fasten and does not feel secure enough to keep a baby properly restrained. • My baby was born on October 1st, and we used a bassinet during the early weeks. By the time we tried using the stroller, the return period had already passed, and we were left with a product that doesn’t meet our expectations or safety needs. As a trusted brand like Chicco, I believe your customers deserve better. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve the safety and design aspects of your strollers. Parents choose Chicco expecting peace of mind—please make sure your products truly deliver that. Sincerely,

I have been in search of a great parent facing stroller for awhile! This stroller checks off all the boxes! Easy to switch from facing out to facing in plus has the infant seat adapter. Not too heavy but not flimsy at all. The canopy adds sun protection! My 15 month old loves to face me and talk during our walks! Great stroller!

Another great product from Chicco, this is our second stroller and we love it. This stroller is very sturdy and moves well through out development. My wife keeps this one in her car it is very easy to breakdown and store and she is able to lift in and out of her car with easy due to the lightweight. Would definitely recommend this product, you can’t go wrong with a Chicco product.

We are thrilled with the Corso stroller! It was very easy to put together. I love that it came with a toddler seat and is compatible with our Chicco infant car seat - we'll get so much good use out of this stroller. It's simple to change from the infant car seat to the toddler seat and move both from forward- to parent-facing. The versatility alone is enough, but the stroller also has a sleek and functional design. A large storage space at the bottom is awesome. Plus, it has two flexible holders for water bottles. So convenient! I also was excited to see it has adjustments for different surfaces. We tested it out by adjusting the shocks to a flat service and bumpy service. No matter what type of terrain you're on, it's easy to maneuver. The Corso is easy to fold for travel, which adds to the superior convenience. We are so happy with this stroller!

We received the stroller to use with our grandchildren. The assembly was quick and easy. The stroller is durable, but light weight and easy to maneuver. The wheels are designed so to travel over various surfaces, including grass or gravel. The height of the handles are perfect. This stroller has a large storage space on the bottom. The versatility of stroller allows us to easily convert to the best positions for the various ages of our grandchildren. We are more than pleased with this stroller.

I was super excited to receive the stroller that I could not possibly wait for my husband to get home to put it together! I was easily able to assemble the stroller in less than 30 minutes without any tools (some of that time was just taking it out of the packaging). The stroller is so versatile! I absolutely love how you position the child facing you or facing out. The ease to switch between the two position is so incredibly easy. The stroller rolls nicely over the pavement. I haven't had the chance to take it off-road yet, but I like the feature on the wheels to switch from smooth to rough terrain. Only a few issues that I had, but they are not big enough not to love it. As a shorter woman, the handle bar is pretty high. The stroller will not fold flat if the seat is facing the parent. It isn't hard to take out and switch, but just an added step. It is pretty bulky in the back of my CR-V, and takes up just about the entire back. It would be nice to have a locking feature for hanging the stroller in the garage. One last issue is that I have not found a way to easily adjust the straps tighter or to move them to the next slot once the child gets bit enough.

We live in a hilly neighborhood without sidewalks. This stroller is so easy to maneuver. The stroller takes bumps really easily and doesn’t disturb the baby. For how sturdy it is, the stroller is easy to assemble and disassemble and simple to get in and out of the car. There is lots of room to store stuff underneath. I highly recommend this stroller. It’s an amazing value.

This is a beautiful stroller. Pretty easy to assemble, getting the rear wheel pins in was the most difficult part - just required a little assistance from my significant other! It's very easy to change the positions of the seat, reclining to upright, and switching from parent-facing to rear-facing. It is also easy to remove the seat and insert the infant car seat adapter which you can also have parent or rear facing. It folds up quick and is compact. The canopy is nice and covers a lot. There is also a lot of cargo space with 2 bottle holders. I like that the wheels have a different settings for rougher terrain - the rear wheels are pretty big too so may be good for the beach although I haven't tried that out yet. I also really like that you can remove the seat fabric and put it in the washer if needed. I would definitely recommend this stroller.

This stroller is easy to push and move. It collapses easily as it is just a lever to collapse it to store or put in the car. I was able to lift and move the stroller without difficulty. It also fits into my car without having to maneuver it around which is an added bonus. The suspension is also great to allow for a more comfortable ride depending on the surface you are using the stroller on.

Great ride

This stroller is a very smooth ride and great for smooth and uneven terrain. It is light weight and very easy to maneuver. Best ride of any stroller we've tried! We like the versitality of the forward and parent facing with different seat settings. Allows the baby to ride without being so overheated in the infant carrier. Seat material has great breathability and it's awesome that you can put it in the washing machine. Awning gives coverage better than any stroller we've had. The only request we have is an add on parent cup holder for the handle and child cup holder/snack tray. We're really impressed with this stroller and think it's a good alternative to the typical stroller that comes with the infant travel system.

Nifty fold!

I like the stroller all-around. It's nicely proportioned. Rolls smoothly. Handle height is good. Basket is spacious. Looks are appealing to me. I especially like the fold. Others of these types of strollers require you to separate the parts before you can fold the stroller. This one lets you fold the stroller while the seat is still on the frame. Then a simple fold handle action puts everything into a compact fold. Helps keep everything together. Not bulky. Pretty cool.
