NHTSA Recommended Guidelines
A: The LATCH System is not required, helps stabilize the seat when the child gets in and out and also keeps it in place when unoccupied. We recommend if you are not using the LATCH system that when the booster seat is unoccupied that you secure it with the vehicle seat belt to prevent it from being a projectile object.
A: The Shoulder Positioning Clip is stored under the Booster Seat.
A: The GoFit and the GoFit Plus backless booster seats are designed for children who are at least 4 years old, between 40-110 lbs and 38-57 inches tall and can sit relatively still in the same seated position throughout the car ride. The GoFit® Plus is equipped with LATCH to help stabilize the seat while the child gets in and out and also keep it in place when unoccupied.
