I love how safe it feels. The car seat it’s self is lighter than other car seats that I’ve had so that will help when toting the baby in it but feels durable and safe when locked into the bottom piece. The infant insert is very nice and soft. My all time favorite thing is that the bottom is easily removable from the car! I couldn’t be happier with this car seat.

great car seat. it's a step up from the Keyfit 30 in many ways. the material is soft, comfy and good quality. it's not as heavy as most comments say. the canopy is amazingly durable. and I like that it's chemical free. highly recommend

Honestly one of the better car seats I’ve ever seen. I got this for a gift for my best friend. It’s her first baby and she did the research. I just put it in her car today to get ready for the little guy. It was the easiest process I’ve ever endured. I’m a police officer and am trained in the proper way to put car seats in. This was so simple and easy. The two “clips” that hook into the bottom of the seat are actually like little seat buckles. They push in and are easy to take off if needed to remove the base. Tightening was easy. We fed the lap and shoulder belt through the bottom and locked it in place. This car seat is not moving. The car seat itself is beautiful. Easy to maneuver. Not too heavy. Inside the car seat has one of those fitted pieces that the baby sits in and it feels like memory foam. The hood of the car seat isn’t attached and can be moved all the way up or down and doesn’t get in the way of the release. I’m overall pleased with this purchase and so is she. We just cannot wait for little man.

Expecting twins this summer. Bought this car seat because it was highly rated and reviewed for safety and easy of installation. As anticipated, this car seat was easy to install. However, I did not realize its limitations in regards to its use with a stroller. If you are expecting twins, please know that there is currently not a Chicco frame stroller to fit two keyfit 35 car seats. You will have to buy two individual frame strollers. Also, this car seat is shown online to not work with the snap-n-go double stroller. There is also not an adapter available for many well-rated double strollers like Contours. I wish I had known this before buying.

We love this car seat! It was incredibly easy to install in the car (took less than 5 minutes), is very easy to get in and out of the car, and the material feels very high quality. We looked at more expensive chemical free car seats too and I’m very glad we landed on this one. We haven’t used the sun shade yet but it’s a really nice feature, and the ability of the car seat to rock while on the ground has been nice for comforting our baby while we’re waiting in the doctors office, etc. So far our baby doesn’t love it, but she likes to constantly move and this car seat constrains her movement, so that also seems to indicate it’s doing it’s job well!

The middle of legs clip cover comes off so easy. My other chicco car seats have a tab that threads thru under the buckle clip to keep the cloth cover in place. Not sure why they took that away on this upgraded option! Very frustrating. Also the release latch is very high. But overall like the design and comfort.

I read SO many car seat reviews when I was pregnant and now we’ve got a 3 month old who does great in this seat! He never screams in the car, sits happily in it on walks (we have a chicco stroller it attaches to), and it was easy to install. If you’re super tired of reading reviews, stop right here and just buy the car seat!
