The IIHS Best Bet KidFit® ClearTex® Plus Booster is designed with 10 positions of DuoGuard® protection, plus quick-release LATCH for easy removal and no added chemicals. The easy-adjust headrest ensures proper belt positioning and integrated side wings offer two layers of protection for the head & torso with a rigid shell and EPS energy-absorbing foam.

The contoured ErgoBoost® seat with double foam padding provides comfort and support in all the right places, and a 2-position backrest adjusts to mimic the vehicle seat position. The backrest is also removable to create a backless booster for older children.
ClearTex® products meet federal car safety flammability standards without the need of added chemicals. GREENGUARD Gold Certified, the KidFit® ClearTex® Plus has been tested for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality.

Q: Is there a way to stop this seat from tipping over every time I make a turn? I have it latched on both sides but when my son is using it, every turn of the vehicle is like a rollercoaster to him.

A: The latches on the KidFit booster seat are not required for use. They do keep the car seat in the vehicle seating position when the car seat is unoccupied. We recommend buckling the vehicle seat belt over the car seat when it is unoccupied so the car seat does not slide across the vehicle seat.

Got two of these for my children after reading a mother’s review where her car was a right off after a highway wreck. The kids were fine apart from a couple of bruises. I hate that they went through that but it had me sold on the safety of these. My kids are very comfortable and they are far less bulky than some others. Good my my kiddo with super long legs!

Purchased and installed today. When adjusting the latch tightness the latches releases. Tried several times and pulled on the seat, it came loose. This is dangerous! The reason to purchase the booster is to keep your child safe. I have no faith. that my child wouldn't get ejected out of the vehicle. Will return today back to Target. Back to Graco.

Super simple install, BUT you have to be so careful not to even touch the latch system or it comes undone. I understand this is just an added level of security and my daughter and the shoulder belt will keep it in place, but it’s frustrating that it comes unlatched so easily. The seat is about as padded as her Graco Extend2Fit was. The cupholders are a great bonus, but one will not clip all the way in to place.

This is a great booster seat! I had to get one to pick up my 4 year old niece from school and she loved it. It’s easy to install and it’s snug on the seat. She loves the dual cup holders too. I gave it 4 stars for comfort because the seat belt was rubbing her neck but I just put one of those pads on the strap and she said it was fine. Overall a great seat!

I honestly was very hesitant about getting this car seat because of the reviews. I decided to purchase and test it out myself. Many of the reviews say that it doesn’t fit tight on the car but I don’t think they are doing it right. I put on the car seat latched on then I used my weight to put down while pulling on the string at the same time. This helped me get a tight fit. My son loves it and it is so easy to move from car to car.

Ordered this to use as a high back booster for my 6 year old. You get what you pay for. As someone who bought uppababy, nuna and britax seats before this, the chicco Kidfit feels like a cheap piece of plastic. It comes in assembled and feels like it could snap putting it together or taking it apart. Everything about it is frustrating and difficult to get a good fit. My child hasn’t used it yet, so I don’t know if it’s comfortable. May just return it and get a clek.
