Q: Why is there only one lens case for two bottles? By the time I get to the second bottle, the lens case does not neutralize the solution.

submitted byMm - 28 days agoA: The CLEAR CARE® lens cases are designed to safely last you through two bottles of CLEAR CARE® solution. The FDA requires that every package includes a lens case, so that's why there is a case in every single package, but only one case in the twin packs. This also helps reduce the amount of plastic needed. However, it sounds like your case has not held up! Q: Are the lens cases the same no matter which Clear Care you use? I have a few extras from HydraGlyde solution packages and I'm moving back to Clear Care Original.

A: I don't recommend using the extra cases you have. Our Clear Care Original solution technically works with the cases from the HydraGlyde package; however, the lens case contains a neutralizing disc that neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide and turns it into gentle saline solution. The lens case is designed to safely last you through 2 bottles of Clear Care solution, which is why there is only one included in the twin pack. If you are unsure how many times your case was used, you risk the solution not completely neutralizing and burning your eye. Toss those old cases and use the new case each time. If you go back to HydraGlyde, only use the case that comes in the box, as it isn't compatible with the cases in the Clear Care Original package. A: Clear Care Plus Hydraglyde has the same cleaning power of Clear Care with the added bonus of HydraGlyde Moisture Matrix, which reconditions soft lenses and surrounds them with long-lasting moisture. Always use the special contact lens case that comes inside the box. The lens case contains a unique neutralizing disc that neutralizes the hydrogen peroxide and turns it into a gentle saline solution after 6 hours, eliminating the need to rinse the contact. The best soft contact lens cleaner for sensitive eyes. I have been using this cleaner for probably 20 years now and it is the absolute best for my dry, sensitive eyes. Cleaning is easy with the included case and cleaning solution. Just be aware you cannot rinse off your contacts with the cleaning solution (so either put straight in your eye or rinse off with some saline solution) and they must be in the cleaner the stated amount of hours or the solution will not be properly neutralized. My one complaint (other than the hefty price tag) is how similar the packaging of this cleaner is to the Clear Care Cleaner with Hydraclear (which does NOT feel good to my eyes and I have mistakenly purchased more than once).

This contact solution cleans contacts better than any other solution I have ever tried, and I've been wearing contacts for most of my life. Every other solution leaves a weird residue that irritates my eyes all day long. This is the only one that gives me that fresh contact feeling every day. It has to be the triple action cleaning one not the Hydro glide. The Hydro glide has that thing that leaves a residue it's not the same.

Clear Care now only gives you one cartridge bottle/lense container for 2 bottles of solution. By the time you start using bottle #2, your eyes are burning. Paying more money for 2 bottles and you can't use the second bottle. Cannot find one bottle and cartridge container to purchase. Used to be able to get Target brand, of course, that seems to be discontinued. Very upset about this.

Does anyone notice that with only one cleansing lens storage container in a two bottle box, that your eyes start burning by the time you are using your second bottle? They really need two lens cases when selling a two solution box. I think the disk in the lens case stops being able to adequately neutralize the solution. My eyes have been burning for last three hours.

This is the only contact lens solution I use. Recommend by by ophthalmologist. I have been using it for seven or eight years. A case is included in each box. The price has gone up in the past few years like everything else but I won’t use a substitute.

An ophthalmologist recommended I use Clear Care after a string of eye infections. I have used it now for years after and never experienced another infection. It is risky to have around people who aren’t familiar with it though since you can’t just put it directly in your eye. I’ve had some friends accidentally try to use it thinking it was normal contact solution.

I’ve used this product for many years and it works great and is preservative free which is why my optometrist recommended it. Do read the instructions completely before use as you need to let the lenses soak at least 6 hours to neutralize the solution. Do not use it to re-wet your contacts!

please understand that I have an eye disease called keratoconus and I require scleral lenses. I was recommended this product 10 years ago and it did the exact same thing it's doing today on August 4, 2023. I was recommended by a new optometrist the same product nothing has changed. I follow instructions to a T and still I even gave it eight hours to clean this product is not good. In fact, it's terrible. Please do not purchase this product unless you want the product to damage your contacts, therefore let's see you discontinue this product. It will still leave the ingredients or chemicals whatever it has stuck on your contacts.

Love how this product cleans my contact lenses. I don't like hot this brand only gives you one case. By the time you get to the second bottle, the disk at the bottom of the case is shot and will not neutralize the H2O2.
