Q: Is this a one and done game?
submitted by KMom - 1 year ago
A: No it's not. You can play again and again with a different ending every time. It's like the game werewolves. It's teams of players against each other.

Terrible… so many rules for the whole game to come down to a points system? It’s really flawed and I should have just gotten the original.

First bought this game and when I opened it the decks for Trap Tiles, Supply Cards and Clue Cards were missing. I exchanged the game the next day for a new one and it was missing the Secret Role Cards. Idk what is going on but that ruined it for me. Do not recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a decent game once we figured out how to play it. It was a little frustrating to try to figure out how to play, and you definitely need older kids and adults to play with to grasp it. The art work was really fun on the board and the concept was fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to get the Clue Conspiracy game. I really enjoyed the original clue and I was anticipating the changes. However, my anticipation quickly changed to confusion as I began to read the directions. These are the most confusing directions to a game I have ever read. I was with 6 others and the amazing game pieces, sturdy board, and intriguing artwork drew us in but the directions made everything come to a stop. We could not follow along with how to play the game. Of course we attempted anyway but didn’t make it far as the thrill was gone and replaced by confusion and disappointment. We have since watch some YouTube videos on how to play the game and are still left with questions and not impressed. Not worth the money in my opinion. Big Bummer!
Quick and fun game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the box for this is very small in size. It won’t take up a lot of room in a drawer, shelf, closet, or wherever you store your games. It would be a great item to take when traveling or attending a game night at someone’s home. We played the slightly different version with four people, but I can’t wait to try it with a larger group. I thought it was a fun take on clue with a twist. Because you don’t know who is a friend or not, you have to be strategic with how you play and try to keep Mr. Coral alive. I love that you can play this with up to 10 people which is nice for holiday gatherings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love getting to try a new board game and when I saw Influenster was sending me Clue Conspiracy complimentary I couldn’t wait to try this new twist on a classic. While this game is slightly complicated to grasp at first, we had a great time playing. It was a nice combination of classic clue and true crime, both of which I love. This will be a game we play again and add to our rotation for game night.
Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved playing the game Clue when I was younger. My daughter has several play through once mystery games and loved them as well. This one is perfect for 14+ as the story line can get confusing and it took a while to read through and comprehend the directions. It’s best played with more than 4 players but is still fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've played this game with the rules for 4 person modifications. It is definitely more complex than the traditional Clue game but gives a slight nostalgic feel when you're playing. I think it's best suited for older teens, but even our 14 year old was over playing after about 15 minutes into the game. After our first time playing we were all thinking "I'm not sure I want to play that again anytime soon." I think that's just because we were all frustrated by having the read the rules over and over to figure out what we should be doing. I think this game has potential to be a lot of fun, especially if you have more people. With four people it was sort of obvious who was on the "Friends" and "Conspiracy" teams. Something we will try at our next family and friends game night.
I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this game, better to play with bunch of people rather then a few. Very nostalgic i may add. It introduces new elements like a special powers for each character and double sided game board. Art & design are visually appealing and the gameplay very engaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s one of my favorite games , we play board games every weekend and this game has the rules very clear and everybody understand how to play very quickly, we think that the best option for play it’s with 5 or more people to be more interesting , for me it’s a excellent sequence of the original clue game. It’s perfect for all the family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a really big fan of the original Clue board game and have been playing that with family and friends since childhood. However while it has an unlimited amount or variations it did need and ‘update’ and this is the perfect new solution. A perfect strategic mystery game that centers around conspiracy and accusations. Best played with 4-10 players but honestly. The more the better and it just gets more tangled with any additional player. You find yourself at the Black Adder Resort trying to figure out who is trying to murder the manager. Lots of character and location cards (that could be boobytrapped!) Are you on the friends side? Or the conspiracy side? Who will uncover the murder? Hours of fun!!! It’s best for players 14 years and up as the story can get slightly complicated. Love this game by Hasbro and would definitely recommend it!
