A: We put all the cards & pieces back in order with the plan of giving it to a friend to play. Everything stays in tact but it would be fun twice.

This game can only be played once which is just insane. There were multiple spelling errors on the cards and the window pieces weren’t aligned properly so that you could get the right answer to two of the clues

The directions say don't read until ready to play first time. So much to read and so many pieces. You put the board together as you play which sounds fun but the other 4 people gonna play with me all lost interest before the game really got started. So I haven't got a chance to play yet.

I bought this game to play with a 9 and 12 year old. If you have kids that have been to an escape room or like puzzles they’ll enjoy this game. It takes about 2 hours but easily able to take breaks during the game.I liked that it essentially was Clue turned into an Escape Room. Will be passing it along for others to enjoy since it’s a one time play game. Not sure how 6 would play since you need to see the puzzles to solve them. I would say a great stay at home date night game or rainy day game for the family.

Great fun! With college kids home for the holidays we were looking for something to keep everyone (adults, college kids, and teens) engaged. We had 6 players as ages 14, 17, 19, 20, and two parents (let’s not mention our ages but old enough)…. We loved all the clues, riddles, etc. everyone could join in and was great to have the big reveal at the end! Looking to purchase another version…

My two 15 year olds had a good time. It seems as though you can only play once but if you don't play for awhile you forget and can play with new company or pass it along to your cousins! That's what we did.

It’s engaging and interesting without being repetitive and we really enjoyed playing it. However, it is a single time game, so you can’t play it more than once, without knowing how it’s going to work out. And then, I feel like it’s kind of a waste of money because it’s some thing you buy and then never use again unless you’re up for passing it around a group of friends or something like that. It’s well-made and well done, fun and engaging, but because of its single time play, I feel like it’s a waste of money. Great concept but I wouldn’t recommend my friends to buy it. I’ll just give them my copy.

This was a good choice, very fun and everyone enjoyed it including the kiddos. It’s not overly hard and the direction we’re very clean and easy to understand, this will definitely be enjoyed lots of times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love all things Clue. This one time play Clue Escape: The Midnight Motel was right up our alley. It is not a short game (unless you cheat your way through, lol) and more teen to adult mind set to figure it out. There is a handy hints/cheat section in case you get stuck. It took us a bit to get the hang of it, but once we got it, it was so much fun. A very unquie and fun way to play. Afterwards we put the cards back into its orginal wrappings and gifted it to some other family members and they had fun too. Very cool and memorable game.

Most pieces are cardboard cut outs that need to be assembled. Also don’t like the idea of “building the board as you go” .. prefer the original clue much more.

If you like Clue and you like Escape Rooms, don't pass this one up. This would be perfect for a big fan of either or a small tween, teen, adult birthday party. I would say this is probably a beginner level, but still fun if you are beyond that level. The directions are easy to follow. There are hints and solutions if you get stuck. I would say that most probably play this game once, but you could always play and gift it to someone else.

This has always been one of my favorite games so I was really excited to share it with my kids. We have played several times already and plan to play again soon.
