Cold Steel Engage 3.5-Inch S35VN Steel Blade G-10 Handle Folding Knife

Razor sharp right out of the package! Super 💪🏼 lock! I've had this knife for about less than 48 hours & I already cut myself! I got distracted, I'm almost 31, BUT (& this is a big BUTT), I have a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). I was a passenger in a rollover & I was thrown out of the rolling 90s FORD EXPLORER do to the driver being so new at driving & the SUV known to have faulty seat belts. BUT my love for Cold Steel got bigger!

Beyond expectations, quite an outstanding knife. The atlas lock is great, stronger than you'll ever need, and extremely satisfying to use. Fits my hands perfectly, very easy to operate and not too heavy.

This is a sharp work horse. Should be good for anyone reasonable task and very durable materials.

Having owned and sold several Demko AD20's , I can say this is about as close to a Shark lock as one can get at an affordable price. My only change would be to move the Atlas lock slightly fwd. On future models . Cant wait for its big brother "Mayhem" later this year. Good job GSM. I was worried you might mess up the Cold Steel quality and innovation when you took over.

Absolutely love this knife! I have purchased half a dozen knofes from cold steel before bit this is by far my favorite. The opening action is as slick as butter and doesnt require much force. The closing operation is truly 1 handed as all you have to do is angle the knie up and pull on the realease kever and it falls back into place. The edge came extremely sharp and has had no problem with any cutting tasks so far. Love the fact it is truly ambidextrous as i am lefty. I bought the recon mini and ots stated as ambi bit cant move the pocket clip to the other side because of the curve and they dont give you another 1 nor will they answer any emails in regards to getting 1 but I digress. This knife is phenomenal and i highly recommend it, if the price is causing doubt go ahead and get it ypu wont regret it.

Best knife that has ever been in my hands! Everything about this blade screams perfection. I can't stop playing with it kinda like a big boy fidget spinner.

The knife is reminiscent of a Cold Steel Demko and Very Fidgety and is Smooth as Butter. Although I’m not use to the Atlas lock the slide to close the blade is actually a good idea and will save the thousand joint cuts of the pointing finger lol. It’s very small and I have XXL Hands so I can deploy and work this knife with ease. It’s much smaller than the AD-10 and while I don’t have the AD-15 I imagine it’s an in between smaller version of those two. This bad boy cuts razor sharp and I’m talking high paper cuts from a long distance. It’s built like a miniature tank and I can see it being an every day workhorse.

Top knife that brings satisfaction without breaking the bank. Smooth but not sloppy. Razor sharp with dead on centering. Beautiful grinds and finish. I own knives two to three times the cost but have always been pleased with Cold Steel knives and then wonder why I am spending more on less reliable ( poor blade centering and lock stick) knives.

The Engage is a slightly smaller knife than the AD10 and AD15. I hope Cold Steel decide to make an XL version, as I prefer larger knives. But overall the knife is very high quality. The action is smooth, albeit not as easy to use as a Shark lock. The blade shape is good and it is extremely sharp right out of the box.

This has everything I was looking for in a pocket knife! The steel is great, the handle shape is perfect, the deep carry pocket clip is much appreciated, and this thing is a beast in terms of toughness. Being picky, though, the only things I would have wanted differently would be for the blade to have been stonewashed and to have some cobalt blue highlights for the handle. These are just my personal preferences though, and this knife is so good I would definitely be glad to buy it again if these options became available.

Cold Steel has out done themselves in this new Atlas design. This knife is built tough to the core with heavy steel liners and the dual-pin locking system will allow this knife to hold up for a lifetime! I cannot wait for the 3" models to arrive.
