Colgate Total Active Prevention Clean Toothpaste - Mint - 5.1oz

Severely dried out and chapped my lips in one week. Has caused them to burn and sting. I would not recommend this product.

Colgate changed the formula on this toothpaste yet again in January 2025. This is twice in the last two and half years. The new formula is an utter failure compared to the previous formula. The taste is horrific, almost like a bitter licorice aftertaste flavor and the clean feeling definitely does not last 24, 12 or even 2 hours after brushing anymore!! The new formula no longer contains any form of Zinc in its ingredients, which is a must for controlling odor and fresh breath. I have yet to find a suitable alternative toothpaste comparable to Colgates previous Deep Clean toothpaste formula. Most of these five star reviews have to be some form of damage control on Colgates part, as the difference between the previous and new formulas are just too notable not to detect by regular consumers.

My go to toothpaste, minty fresh. Have ordered this product about 6 times or so, does not come sealed on the tube but packaging is relative normal. This along with my occasional whitening of opalescence keeps my teeth nice and white 10/10

Just purchased a new tube of this toothpaste not knowing that the formula changed. It is so much stronger with a worse taste than before and now burns my mouth when I use it. I have been getting burns on my tongue for the past week since I opened the new tube. Not sure why they had to change the formula but will now be looking for a new toothpaste.

Purchased Total deep clean today. I was expecting a normal toothpaste.I was so wrong.Simply loving it.

I have noticed this with other brands that are specifically targeting gum health. I think they are too harsh on my teeth and gums. If you have sensitive teeth I would not recommend. My husband likes it and does not have the same reaction I do.
